It is with great sadness that due to circumstances beyond our control, at this stage, are forcing us to cease sharing our property by 27th November 2025.We have thoroughly enjoyed meeting and making friendships with visitors and invite you to still contact us and visit the farm and animals. Cheryl 0421 521 733This 20 acre working property is dedicated to our horses, dogs, birds and relaxing! You are welcome to wander into the big paddock to access the walking trails and continue on to explore the scrub area where many native birds come and go including kookaburras. The line of trees planted in the gully area are dedicated koala forage trees so also wander down there and have a look and see if you can spot one.Your relaxed property walk will take you past paddocked sheep (they may run up to you if they think you have something for them to eat. Cut apples or carrots into pieces for them ) Rams and Whethers are together in their own paddock, alpacas and Bobby are in with the Ewes and any lambs at the time protecting them from predators in another paddock. There are horses, Dallas the mule (please do not enter their paddocks) , wild ducks at the dam, as well as our ducks and geese if they are out of their enclosure that day. There are raceways between all paddocks to continue your walk all around the property. Beware of the electric fencing though, it hurts if you touch it!We also have some very friendly chooks and turkeys that LOVE to say hello and be hand fed chopped up pieces of apple, carrot, grapes and especially watermelon! Feel free to give them any food scraps you might have. We also have a family of magpies will enjoy any meat scraps you leave for them too.Dallas, our mule is always up for a bit of attention and any apples or carrots you might like to share with him.Dallas is rather special as his dad is a "mammoth donkey" who has been imported from America. His mum is a stunning thoroughbred. Mammoth donkeys are a bigger/taller breed of donkey than Australian donkeys are. They are beginning to be used up north on stations instead of horses as mules are sturdier, more sure footed, not as flighty as horses so safer for stock men and women to use working with cattle. They can live into their late 30,s so have a longer working life as well. Dallas was born in 2023Campsites 1, 2 and 3 are on the right hand side as you drive in via the automatic opening gate which you will be given access to once we have added your mobile number to the system after you have booked. We are currently planting more native shrubs and trees in this area to encourage even more bird life plus provide future windbreaks and further divide sites. From this area you will see the most spectacular sunsets and be able to have an open campfire during winter season. The Dam It site, Tree line site and Solar paddock site are through another gate on the left hand side opposite site 3/ the paddock with the solar panels in it before you reach our residence, aviaries and toilet. It is also through this gate you go to access the walking trails.Besides sitting back relaxing reading a book with a nice local wine in your hand there are other nearby options to fill your days while staying on our property.Take a short drive down Goldsfield Rd to the Mining Museum and hiking trails. A few KM's towards Williamstown stop in and see the Whispering Wall, built between 1899 and 1903, for its time of construction the dam was deemed a revolutionary engineering marvel. Sounds and voices, even a whisper can be clearly heard at the other end of the dam more then 100 meters away.Continue on through Williamstown and hire a kayak and explore the Warren Reservoir with the resident pelicans. The Warren reservoir was built on the South Para River between 1914 and 1916. Mt Crawford forest is then another short drive on where you can hike, ride and picnic and be guaranteed to see kangaroos in their natural habitat. We are also ideally located being at the gateway to numerous wineries, take your e-bike and explore the towns in the Barossa Valley which are linked with rose lined bitumen trails, explore the shops, cafes and enjoy delectable food, stop in at the Lavender Farm, treat yourself to a scenic flights with Barossa Helicopters or challenge yourself at Barossa Bowland and fantastic themed Dinosaur mini golf just to name even more options!Less than 10 minute drive from our front gate will have you at the lovely town of Lyndoch where the local IGA is a handy stop for those emergency essentials as well as the local bakery, craft shop, pub, post office, Lord of Lyndoch restaurant, Table Cafe Kies winery for starters. 10 Minures the other direction will see you at a new suburb Springwood which has a variety of shops and a Chemist, couple minutes further will have you at the lovely town of Gawler. The visitor center here is also home to local artists to exhibit their works.Like to kayak? Well a short drive will take you to spectacular opportunities to do so. Hire is also available at the site at different times of the year.Love exploring by bike? You are at the heartland of multiple trails you can access too. Local bike hire options are available too.As you can see, you have plenty of options to tailor your stay to suit the type of experience you are after. No responsibility taken for any injury or accident to Campers, their property and pets while camping at Tiny Vacations. Dreaming of a retreat in the heart of the Adelaide Hills? Bradbury Nature Retreat is located on a stunning 11 acre property that offers glorious uninterrupted views all the way to Aldinga Beach (just ask the host to show you where you can find this secret view). The property is accessed via a private road so it is incredibly quiet and serene. Instead, get lost in the sound of wild-life all around you! Your campsite is surrounded by native trees and scrub so it’s not unusual to have kangaroos, koalas, and native birds like kookaburras and cockatoos stop by for a visit. Behind your campsite there's an organic fruit orchard where the chickens forage. The property also features paddocks with roaming sheep and an alpaca. Let the host know if you would like a farm tour or to join in feeding the farm animals. We only allow one group on our campsite at a time to ensure you have a peaceful and quiet stay. We are a small, family owned and run hobby farm. Eggs and other farm produce for sale on request when there is surplus. Campfires allowed when restrictions aren't in place (firewood available to buy at our wood stall). To learn more about us follow us on Instagram @bradbury.nature.retreat and don't forget to tag us in your camping photos! Experiences around Bradbury: • Our property is 5km from Warrawong Wildlife Sanctuary, the home to countless Australian native animals and the only place on mainland South Australia where you can see the elusive platypus! • Just a 7-minute drive to both Between the Vines and Deviation Road Winery where you can unwind from a hard week at work with a sophisticated wine and grazing platter whilst surrounded by vineyards and beautiful bushland. • On the main street in Stirling you will find the artisan ice-creamery, chocolate and lolly shop, Hokey Pokey. Our favourite is their house-made ice-cream made with biodynamic dairy and local, seasonal produce! • If you’re looking for somewhere to go for dinner Bradbury isn’t far from the Aldgate Pump Hotel, the Stirling Hotel and the Crafers Hotel, just to name a few. • For the plant lovers, Tupelo Grove Nursery is a 7-minute drive away in the outskirts of Mylor. This family-owned nursery is a must see and is known to be the go to place for harder to find, unique plants!

The house was built approx 80 years ago by the farmers family. The big solid walls, are laid concrete by the farmer and his young son, from the materials on the property. It has recently been rewired and fully re plumbed all to make safe and usable. The floorboards are all sanded and polished and a new lick of paint has made the property fresh and inviting. The property was originally a dairy and has the original ruins of the old homesteads and dairy buildings from generations before. The property is now used for cattle and sheep and crops and is about 1000 acres. It is boarded by currency creek which flows with crystal clear water from spring all year round, which is a wondrous track to hike around and enjoy beautiful views of the inlets and creeks to the lower lakes. The farmhouse is surrounded by huge pine trees and gums, and there is an easy access turn around driveway and plenty of parking. The property is only a short distance from Goolwa , Middleton and Victor Harbor. In the future the plans are to have a veggie garden for tenants to pick from and chickens and ducks and small animals to associate with. There are cattle with calves and sheep in the neighboring paddocks. We have invited for you to bring your dog along but at this stage they will have to be tethered at all times so they do not escape and interfere with stock. This is for their safety as well.
