This is my third stay in four months, I (and my doggos) love it that much! Everything about Cooinda is perfect. It is very obvious how much the owners love and care for this beautiful property. So peaceful and relaxing and even though this trip was only two nights this time I felt I had a week off.

A few good walking trails around.
Good facilities.
Uneven ground, and a number of slopes, so could be challenging if you have mobility issues.

Had a great stay at Cooinda! Definitely recommend the fenced sites if you have pets or little ones. It was a nice change not to have to worry about my bub wandering out on to the road like most campgrounds. The view was also amazing and facilities were clean. We did have a lot of wasps swarm in while cooking in the evening, that’s nature! But I’d definitely check in on that first if you have allergies. I also wish I realised that groups also use the property. While our site was away from the groups they were quite noisy. The school camps were having a great time in the mornings and evenings which was fine but the footy club blasting music past 10.30pm was a little unexpected. No one’s fault, I just didn’t realise they would be there and it was a bit tricky getting the little one to sleep lol. Overall it’s a beautiful property and we had a great time, would recommend 🙂

It was so peaceful and relaxing. The surroundings were stunning. The Caravan Park was nice, tidy, clean and all the amenities worked perfectly. The pool, playground, cafe & BBQ areas were always clean and well stocked. The staff were polite and helpful, always asking was everything ok and did you need anything whenever you passed them. Other campers were courteous and friendly. We will be heading back there again soon.

Cooinda was an amazing place to stay, awesome views, grest atmosphere. The fenced area was awesome for the children a the dog. It allowed us to relax knowing they were all safe.
The different types of camp sites or cabins to stay in offers so many options when planning our next holiday. Close to town to go shopping and outings. We are diffenantly going to book again. Close to the kids grandma for her to spend time with the kids and for us to have time with out the kids..

Where to go
McLaren Vale
Foodies, wine lovers, and sunseekers are all welcome in McLaren Vale, one of South Australia’s most prestigious wine regions. In between wine tasting, swing by local farmers markets and farm-to-table restaurants to dine on fresh, seasonal cuisine, walk it off bushwalking or biking along the Coast to Vines trail, then cosy up around the campfire in the evening hours. Fleurieu Peninsula

Surfers, snorkelers, and kayakers can explore the rocky coves and sea caves along the St Vincent Gulf shore, while the south coast towns of Victor Harbor and Goolwa are renowned for their wildlife-watching opportunities.
Kangaroo Island

When to go
