Tickera Seaview Camp Grounds are located 2kms north of the township in coastal scrubland overlooking the Beautiful Spencer Gulf. This scrubland is a part of our larger cropping property which has been in our family since the 1950s. As crop farmers we farm Wheat, Barley, Lentils and Oats.
Each of the 3 camp grounds available, offer private unimpeded views over the Spencer Gulf shoreline.
Tickera is the home of the Blue Swimmer Crab so bring your crab rakes and explore the shallows for your dinner.
Tickera is located 2 hours north of Adelaide on the Northern Yorke Peninsula. Wallaroo is 20 min south of the camp grounds with beautiful drive on beaches. Port Broughton is. 30 min North, there are endless places to explore.

We loved our stay here – amazing views right by the water. With only three sites it feels very private, and site 3, where we stayed, is nicely secluded by bushes which gives even more privacy. The sunset views were absolutely beautiful.

Stay 3 nights at site 1. Plenty of room and a beautiful view. Easy access to site. No access to the beach area. Close to Wallaroo and North beach. We enjoyed our stay in this peaceful space. Thanks

Great Hipcamp right on the ocean. Wide open farm land with three excellent sites.
Site 2 is the pick with easy drive through access and the most level of the three.
Absolutely no one around. Peaceful. Quite. Beautiful.
Would return and recommend to others.

Was an awesome camp spot not far from Wallaroo. Stayed on a clear sunny day so the sunset was unreal. The views from the site up on the hill over the bay and gulf were amazing. Recommend bringing some levelling boards especially if your in a rooftop tent but this is a minor inconvenience when you see the view from your tent in the morning

Sitting on a chair overlooking Spencer Gulf with a chilled wine and nibbles. How does it feel get any better except a quick trip to Wallaroo or montage or Port Hughes. And the serenity. Beautiful ambience to fall asleep to. Outstanding spot as much as separation from other sites.

We enjoyed four nights at Tom's as we discovered Yorke Pensinsula. Was a perfect base to return to. Very private and secluded but close to township of Wallaroo. We are completely self sufficient and as stated there are no facilities available. Was a nice easy walk from site 2 along the beach into Tickera. Beautiful sunsets and many kangaroos bounding around. Was beautiful waking to the glistening water and sounds of birds. Would definitely recommend site 2 it was great for beach access down an incline. Glad we had 4 wheel drive vehicle and caravan as track was a bit soft coming out but we did have decent rain over night. Thanks to Tom for sharing his slice of paradise and allowing us to stay. Great host who is very responsive to messages.

View was outstanding. Bit of a scrabble to the beach but long stretch of beach when you got there. No crabs caught on the day 😢Kangaroos visited throughout the day which was lovely. Plenty of space between campsites. Had a campfire with spectacular sunset views. Very windy on last morning. Highly recommend this site.

Absolutely beautiful little piece of heaven. Space enough to feel alone but still close enough to everything you need.
The serenity of stepping out of the van and being met with the sun glistening on the bay waters was incredible. The stars at night were amazing. Very peaceful.
Tom was helpful in meeting me and taking me to the site and then allowed space and privacy. Tom was flexible when I had to change arrival time.
Definitely somewhere I’d return to and recommend to others.
I have very large 23ft van. Got in easily. Had to use 4WD to get up the hill on the way out. But did it easy.
