Pets welcome on leash at all times. Children under 2 are free. Do not include them in your booking or they will be charged. Campers need to arrive no later than 6.30pm unless otherwise arranged. The property is around an hour drive from Adelaide, and Murray Bridge is only 20 km away. Please note: We ask that you treat all of nature and animals with respect. We are a leave no trace site, which means everything you bring in you must take with you, which includes rubbish and broken things. The bins at the entrance are for residents only and as they are only collected fortnightly cannot cater for more than those who live here. Our property is located in the rocky outcrops of the Bremer Ranges and is on the Bremer River in Rockleigh. This site was once a overnight yard for the sheep farmers who were passing through the area. We have three separate locations for campers to choose from. The Gums- surrounded by small gum trees right near the Bremer River. The Carob- this site is situated further back from the river and is surrounded by mulberry trees. Lastly we have The Sticks- this site is behind the scrubby bushed and requires tight access and is more suited to tents and swags. The decent into camp is quite narrow and steep so please drive carefully. We are 45 minute drive from the Lavender Federation Trail which is a popular walking track in the region. We are only 30 minutes drive from Monarto Conservation Park which is a popular spot for walking trails and picnics. Monarto is also home to a Safari Park which is the largest Safari Park in Australia and home to lots of interesting animals. We have 2 toilets available but please BYO toilet paper. Sorry, no pets. Please note that Pymbroke is in the Murraylands zone & fire danger season starts early. 1st November 2025.

The property has its own private road so plenty of room for kids to ride their bikes, we have horses and cows that guests are welcome to feed over the fence. Weekend Trip to Harry’s Rockleigh Bush Camp

My husband and I had a lovely visit to Harry’s Rockleigh Bush Camp, just a one night stay to try out a new swag tent. Harry is a great host, welcoming guests with information about the property and facilities. Toilets are available, as well as a camp kitchen. The property is located on a hillside, giving views across the hills, and is a nice quiet place for a recharge away from the city. It was nice to get a visit from the inquisitive hens that live on the property and chat with other campers. Big thanks to Harry for being an excellent host and helping us with a jump start when we needed it! We look forward to camping here again in the future.

Been to this spot twice and will definitely be back. For how close it is to Adelaide, makes a weekend away so convenient. The track to the site is fairly rough and does require a larger vehicle for it to be comfortable, but the river and surrounding areas are worth the bumpy journey.

The camp was awesome, we stayed in The Carobs. The sites are closer together than I expected but we were lucky enough to have the whole camp to ourselves for most of our stay! The range of fire pits Rodney had available to borrow was awesome and having wood on site for $20 was convenient!

Weekend Trip to Harry’s Rockleigh Bush Camp

We had an amazing weekend at Harry's Bush Camp! It’s a beautiful farm with lots of sweet animals to pet. Anne was the kindest host, very thoughtful and making sure we were comfortable. Her warmth and positive energy truly brighten the place. The amenities were great, with a toilet, hot shower, and a sheltered kitchen equipped with a barbecue. Highly recommend this lovely spot!

We had The Gums - and the rest of the camping areas all to ourselves - and it was very peaceful - with fabulous birdlife chattering, feeding, squawking - set up camp right by the creek, watched the sun go down behind an old gum tree on the bank and watched the sun rise light onto the same bank. We rolled the portable fire out to where we we had set up camp, and the very clean long drop was in walking distance, but far enough away, to where we camped.

A great spot with beautiful views, roaming farm animals, plenty of wildlife and clean, well looked after amenities! Anne was incredibly kind and welcoming - checking in on us each day, helping us with firewood and answering any questions we had. We had such a wonderful time walking around the property, visiting the horses and cooking on the campfire. Well worth a visit, and we will definitely be back!

The place is very beautiful and quiet, with the sites widely spaced, allowing for privacy between visitors. The entrance path is quite rocky and steep, so you should take it slowly and carefully. I would recommend this place for a night or a weekend getaway.

Friendly hosts. Great facilities. Beautiful views. Love the fact you can set up where ever you want and move the fire pits around. The horses were super friendly and it was cool having sheep around. Lots of grass around in September. Will definitely be back
