Having a fenced enclosed campsite made our stay such a pleasure, dog could roam around our plot at his leisure and we didn't have to worry about him always being on a lead or tied up. Also didn't need to worry about people taking short cuts through our site and startling the dog. our dog is a 66kg protector so this site-5- was perfect

Amazing spot!! We had our 4wd with rooftop tent on site 5a and it was perfect for us and our pup! The site is a 2 minute drive away from Victor Harbour centre so it makes for a really good base camp. Cooinda is super clean with nice green grass everywhere to setup on. The toilets and showers were nice and clean aswell.

Cooinda was incredible. We stayed at site 2B, a premium spot with power access and a very spacious area. The view was absolutely stunning.
The bathrooms and showers were always spotless, and the camp kitchen is large and well equipped (you just need to bring your own utensils).
The staff were very friendly and welcoming from start to finish. It’s a shame we couldn’t stay longer — we’ll definitely be back!

What a primo spot! 3min drive to Victor harbour, beach and shops. The caretakers who were running the campsite for a few weeks were so lovely! Amenities closeby. Camp kitchen has all basic needs. Camp spot had incredible view of the ocean!

I had a wonderful stay at site 5 — the fully enclosed dog-friendly site was perfect for me and my dog, and such a peaceful spot. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home, and the facilities were great and well maintained.
I also feel like I struck lucky with my timing, as the site wasn’t fully booked, which made the experience even more relaxing and quiet — just what I needed for a solo getaway. Would absolutely recommend Cooinda Retreats to anyone looking for a serene, dog-friendly camping experience!
