Pichi Richi Park is our family owned and operated property, 13km south of Quorn in the heart of the Pichi Richi Pass.
We have plenty of campsites, including bush campsites that are secluded and private, along with campsites that are much closer to our bathrooms, group accommodation, kitchens and bush cabins.
Here at Pichi Richi Park, there are a number of signposted walking tracks ranging in distance from a few km up to a 10km+ loop. The Heysen Trail comes through our property for nearly 7km and some of our own walking tracks link with the Heysen as it meanders through our property.
You can also ride your mountain bike around and the Mawson Bike Trail is not far away.
We have over 1,000 acres of land around our accommodation that we do not graze as we are allowing this beautiful piece of Aussie outback to return to its original and pristine state.
We are not a caravan park, so all campers and caravanners that come here get a fair bit of space and nobody is on top of anyone else.
Quorn is our local town and is 13km away to the north. Quorn has 2 pubs, a number of cafes and a little supermarket that is open from 7am to 8pm 7 days a week.

We loved our stay! PRP was the perfect balance—slightly rugged, yet still comfortable. The amenities were exceptionally well maintained, and it had everything we needed. It also made me realise we had overpacked for this camping trip.
Our time there was too short, but we cherished so many moments: the view from our campsite, the sunrise behind the rugged hills of Mount Brown, and the scarlet hues painting the hills at sunset. We loved watching the Pichi Richi Train pass along the track right in front of our campsite, waking to the sound of birds in the morning, and taking in the lush green fields.
Hamish made sure we were well settled, even though we checked in later than planned (2 pm). The other campsites were spaced far apart from ours, which added to the sense of peace and privacy. When they say it’s a massive place, you’ll believe it when you arrive.
The cozy town of Quorn was equally charming, and the locals were so lovely.
Lastly, Binky came back to hang around on our first night - right after my friend secretly asked her to guard us while Hamish was checking in on us during setup. Ah. She now calls herself a dog whisperer.
Loved our stay, and I look forward to coming back next time. Thank you, Hamish!

This park was nestled amungst amazing scenery. Hills and mountains in every direction. Wildlife close by, emus and kangaroos. Close proximity to the national park. Lots of onsite hiking trails. Beautiful amenities such a new and clean bathrooms/showers and a large camp kitchen. We loved this site and added a few days on to our stay because of that!

The views were truly impeccable. Waking up surrounded by the Flinders Ranges felt so special. We saw an incredible amount of wildlife during our stay, including sheep, big birds, kangaroos, and emus, which made the whole experience even more memorable.
The location is perfect, with a short drive to some truly stunning lookouts and walks. We also highly recommend checking out the Woolshed Restaurant - the food and wine were absolutely amazing and such a great addition to the stay.
Such a special place with an incredible atmosphere. We will most definitely be back.

Lovely, spacious place with beautiful views. We stayed over Christmas and the campground was empty, which made it extra special. The facilities are clean and well maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful. There are also great 4WD routes nearby. We would happily come back again.

Good stopping off point for the Flinders Ranges. We were there at the end of the spring season when it was quiet and empty and weather was a bit warm, so we had the kitchen shed all to ourselves which was great. Facilities were basic but served us well. We also had the pool to ourselves which was lovely to cool down in. Slept in swags on gravel ground and was perfectly quiet overnight, just a few kangaroos hopping around.

The view of the mountains is absolutely breathtaking from the campsite. Also, if you climb up onto the big hill next to the camp for sunset, you may just witness the most beautiful campsite of your life as I did. The owners were great as well! Very responsive and helpful. 10/10 would definitely recommend.

Absolutely loved our stay at Rawnsley Park Station, we like our own space, so chose a spot away from most in an unpowered site. Positioned on the lake/dam, we had peace and quiet and the most majestic sunsets on the water and sunrises on Wilpena Pound, sheep, emus and birdlife in abundance. Staff in the shop were lovely and bathrooms were maintained to a very high standard. We took a helicopter flight from the main office over Wilpena Pound and further up the Flinders Ranges and Will, our pilot, was very knowledgable and professional.

Stayed in non-powered camping. Beautiful spots, on plenty of shelter and the facilities were excellent. Was peaceful at night and stunning views during the day. Went for a hike and the views just got better and better. Highly recommend.

We had the best time with our 3 kids and dog! The site Hamish suggested was close enough to the toilets but we still felt secluded. Kids loved the volley ball court, riding bikes and exploring. Lovely to have a fire and the hike up the hill is excellent. Loved Warren Gorge as a nearby dog friendly hike.

We loved our stay at Pichi Richi Park. The view we had was beautiful and got to see lots of wildlife. We went on the Pichi Richi train and could see our swags through the hills as the train went by. I would recommend staying there.

The facility is well looked after and the shower block is very well maintained.. It's a charming and beautiful location just out of Port Augusta where you can find good coffee and shops. Check-in was easy and the tent site was perfectly situated and spacious. Great views!
Only thing, they charged us $20 for firewood but the amount of wood was little.
Recommend you bring your own bag of firewood as it is not aloud to collect firewood in the reserve.
Very convenient and lovely with bush walks and pristine views.

Awesome views with a Good level camp pad. We felt like we were way out in the national Park, however we were not far out off the services of Quorn.Excellent walking hikes all close by such as Devils Peak and Warren Gorge.Highly recommend.
