Dreaming of a retreat in the heart of the Adelaide Hills?
Bradbury Nature Retreat is located on a stunning 11 acre property that offers glorious uninterrupted views all the way to Aldinga Beach (just ask the host to show you where you can find this secret view).
The property is accessed via a private road so it is incredibly quiet and serene. Instead, get lost in the sound of wild-life all around you!
Your campsite is surrounded by native trees and scrub so it’s not unusual to have kangaroos, koalas, and native birds like kookaburras and cockatoos stop by for a visit.
Behind your campsite there's an organic fruit orchard filled with ducks and chickens, and a piggery where Camilla the friendly pig lives. The property also features paddocks with roaming sheep and alpacas. Let the host know if you would like a farm tour or to join in feeding the farm animals.
We are a small, family owned and run hobby farm. Eggs and other farm produce for sale on request when there is surplus. Campfires allowed in winter/when restrictions aren't in place (BYO wood or ask us about buying some).

• Our property is 5km from Warrawong Wildlife Sanctuary, the home to countless Australian native animals and the only place on mainland South Australia where you can see the elusive platypus!
• Just a 7-minute drive to Deviation Road Winery where you can unwind from a hard week at work with a sophisticated wine and an all-day food menu whilst surrounded by vineyards and heritage listed bushlands.
• On the main street in Stirling you will find the artisan ice-creamery, chocolate and lolly shop, Hokey Pokey. Our favourite is their house-made ice-cream made with biodynamic dairy and local, seasonal produce!
• If you’re looking for somewhere to go for dinner Bradbury isn’t far from the Aldgate Pump Hotel, the Stirling Hotel and the Crafers Hotel, just to name a few.
• For the plant lovers, Tupelo Grove Nursery is a 7-minute drive away in the outskirts of Mylor. This family-owned nursery is a must see and is known to be the go to place for harder to find, unique plants!

Conveniently situated just minutes from award-winning McLaren Vale cellar doors, shops, restaurants, cafes, walking and cycling trails, and art galleries. All of this, along with pristine coastline and beaches to explore, you can do as much or as little as you want!
Each tent is lit at night by battery operated candles, bedside lights, and even a chandelier! There is also a brighter lantern if you wish to read or play games, and a large torch.
We provide the basics, and more!

You have a large glamping site area and private bathroom amenities to yourselves, and only share any access roads with other glampers. Outside there is a private parking area, the shower toilet amenities, a large wooden table, a park bench, a firepit and wood/vines to burn (during the Winter months). There is also an additional rubbish bin for convenience.
Our glamping setup is for 2 adults only, perfect for romantic couple’s getaways, or two friends wanting to share some quality time together.
There is a flushing portable toilet with handwashing facilities and small mirror, and a large shower area with a 20 litre solar camp shower.
The homestead is approximately 500 metres away and screened from view by the flower paddocks for your privacy.
*** No open fires permitted from 1 October to 31 April
Guest Access
We would like our Glamping guests to truly enjoy the experience on the flower farm. The area around your tent, bathroom and car parking space has been prepared for you to enjoy.
The flower paddocks and other general paddocks are Private property and not accessible to guests. Please refrain from taking a stroll amongst the bushes and flowers as there are hazards such as irrigation lines, taps and not to mention the rabbit burrow and holes dotted around the property.
We also operate farm machinery across the other areas of the property as we are a working commercial flower farm.
Other details to note
Please note - please take care when walking around your glampsite as there are areas of uneven ground and rabbit holes! No manicured lawns or picket fences here!
No open fires (firepits) permitted from 01 October to 31 April.

Bugs and other unwanted guests! As our tents are in the heart of the vineyard you will likely find some harmless insects sneaking into the tents from the vines; the main culprit is the tiny Portuguese millipede.
While we thoroughly clean before/after each guest, we want you to know that you're likely to see them during your stay.
These are totally harmless insects and can either be left alone (and they'll leave you alone) or you can use the insect spray we provide/pick them up in a tissue, or the dustpan and brush, and drop them in the waste bin, or outside.
This is a normal part of life for anyone living on property in McLaren Vale with lots of open indoor/outdoor space. We hope you'll appreciate it as part of an authentic, real experience!
To eliminate anything getting into the tent we strongly advise to keep all doors zipped up.
We live in the homestead on property (but out of sight!), and far enough away to ensure your privacy. Our property IS NOT the one as you enter the property at the top of the track.
We are happy to answer questions, offer local recommendations (some are already in our Welcome Pack for your information).

Located on 25 acres of beautiful bushland, a chestnut tree grove and paddocks with stunning views you will find our magical retreat.
There are 4 sites to choose from, all peaceful spots with an abundance of natural wildlife plus a family of deer who often visit.
We are just 15 minutes drive from Mount Lofty where you can enjoy some of the many trails available and see cascading waterfalls, scenic gorges and lush fern gullies brimming with bush birds and wildflowers.
There are a number of great wineries in the area all with excellent wines and local produce you can enjoy. We also have several gin distilleries.
We are a short walk to Wotton's Scrub (Kenneth Stirling Conservation Park) and close to Hahndorf, Oakbank and Stirling.
Campers must be self contained with their own camping toilet and water and take all rubbish with them on departure. Pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash.

Why travel more than you have to to escape Adelaide and get back to basics? You can set up camp and be sipping a wine or hot drink in the grove tranquility in less than an hour from most suburbs .
Interstaters, this is 15 mins from Magill and about 40 mins to the CBD / some small caravans ok .. its a world away but a close option, sorry no power .
Rove on the property or Rock climb at nearby Morialta falls / Cleland / Mt Lofty or use the Grove as a base to Rove along the nearby Heysen trail , the many bakeries , eateries , wineries, breweries and distilleries nearby . Visit Marble Hill residence on open days, or any of the many events Adelaide hills has on offer. ( Medieval fair / Adelaide rally / SALA / bay to Birdwood / Anzac to name a few )
Enjoy a complimentary box of Marble Hill Water on arrival ... Roast some chestnuts * over the campfire or gather some wild blackberries* , or mushrooms *. ( * in season ) .
Pls Note Guests are provided a basis toilet / waste disposal area and your self contained outdoor showers are welcome . LPG bottles , some essential camp supplies ( inc marshmallows ) are available to purchase via eft once on site .
Pet waste must be removed and any onsite rubbish must be placed in the roadside wheelie bin on departure .
