The Scrub Campsite located in remnant vegetation (14 minutes from Victor Harbor ) is a rustic self check in campsite as the owners do not reside near the campsite.
Campers choose their site in the designated camp spots. Sites are not allocated unless by prior arrangement.
Persons under 18, youth groups, school groups or scout groups etc. are not permitted to book at the campsite.
A communal camp kitchen, water tanks and compost toilet is available for campers use. Fire pits are located at each site. Campers will be advised of fire bans.
Wood can be purchased from the self service white ibc container for $15 for 20kgs.
Please adhere to the camp rules which are posted at each campsite.
The campsite is located on the Heysen Trail and close to many Lower Fleurieu Peninsula beaches and attractions. The popular Belicious Cafe is a 45 minute walk.
Whole campsite bookings can be made by contacting the owners.
We ask that campers respect all other campers, the land that they are camping on and follow the campers motto - Leave nothing but your footprints.
Once booked you will receive a text outlining the camp policies and instructions.

Perfect location to base yourself to explore the beaches and beautiful wineries/ breweries. Views from the property are stunning. We had pretty bad weather and still managed to enjoy walks around the property to see the wild life, hit up the local distillery and a drive down Myponga beach road which the owners suggested ( this has to be one of the most beautiful drives in all of SA and should not be missed!!) that surrounds this property. Stunning at sunset.
Still a work in progress for the guys here but the effort that Heath and family are putting in, Im sure this place will be fantastic!!

Great option to get away locally, but still able to take the dog with us and be close enough to home to get back for work quickly the next day. Great sunset and stars are epic also on a clear night. Great hosts all-round!

Site 1 was perfect for us with kids as both the kitchen and toilets were really close by. We didnt have to lug the gas stove, tables and chairs with us as the Kitchen had all these. It has a gas flat grill plate BBQ which was great for us. The space is huge and the kids had a blast running around. It did get a bit cooler there at night time which we didn't expect so pack some warm clothes (we went 2nd weekend of Feb). There are 3 adorable dogs that visited on and off and we played "fetch" with them. Kylie was lovely - she popped in to say hi and also gave my friend duct tape to fix her pole which accidentally snapped. And she also handed my friend some fresh eggs which my friend enjoyed thoroughly 😊 All in all, a great stay and I'll be coming back soon when we can have a fire.

Allan was incredibly welcoming and accommodating. The property has several flat spots to choose from. An incredible view of the ocean, beautiful sunsets and stargazing. It’s quiet and simple but has all you could need for a relaxing getaway. The koala and kangaroo walks are a lovely way to spend some time and feeding the donkeys and horses was a bonus. Would recommend and definitely return. We were off power as we’re self contained but there are provisions for power, water and a dump point. A cute sand playground for the kids too.

Marilyn is a very communicative and helpful host, meeting you on arrival to ensure everything is as you need. The farm is in the mos lt beautiful & peaceful location, just out of town, so the best of both worlds! It has lovely sunsets and the most amazing stars at night and the only sound is birdsong each morning!

Wonderful secluded campsite with excellent privacy between sites. Lots of bird life. We didn’t use the shower or kitchen, but the composting loo was great.
We’ll definitely be coming back to spend more time just relaxing away from the city.

We loved our stay at Koala Coast Retreat Farm, camping on an unpowered hilltop site with beautiful views. We had access to clean water, a shower, a toilet, and a dump point if needed. The highlight was our interactions with the horses and donkeys. Heath was also a very friendly and helpful host.

We really enjoyed our stay at Koala Coast Retreat. Heath (and Possum!) were wonderful hosts, taking the time to show us around and helping us get our van positioned just right. The views across the coast are fantastic.
There’s a great sitting area outside the games room where campers naturally came together for happy hour chats before dinner, which created a really friendly atmosphere. There are several walks to choose from, including one that takes you to the donkeys and horse — feeding them carrots provided by Heath on arrival was a lovely touch.
The retreat is conveniently close to Myponga and Normanville, where you can find all the shops you need. One of our favourite outings was a beach walk followed by a stop at the microbrewery on the way back.
We loved our stay and would definitely consider returning.

Classic camp spot with beautiful surroundings in the idillyc Inman Valley! Great central location between Victoria Harbor, Normanville & some of the best beaches in SA! Kylie and her daughters are gracious hosts and welcomed me with open arms! Definitely recommend for those seeking peace and quiet and a restful night under the stars! - also, don't miss brunch at Bellalisious , a roadside crepe house , just two minutes drive down the road for good coffee, ambiance and friendly staff and locals!!
