Belinda was amazing! Our wine tasting with her was one of our favourites to date. She is so warm and welcoming and her history with wine and wine making is fascinating. It’s not often you get to do a wine tasting with the wine maker themselves, and the wines were delicious. We bought three bottles! The site is also beautiful nestled in amongst the vines, and location is perfect to access lots of the local wineries

What a wonderful place to stay during our (all too short!) visit to the Barossa.
From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed. Belinda was absolutely delightful — friendly, helpful, and full of great local tips for places to visit, eat, and explore.
The accommodation itself was peaceful and beautifully set among the vines — we had the whole vineyard to ourselves, which made it feel extra special. 😀 Sitting outside with a glass of wine, surrounded by the scenery, was such a highlight.
We couldn’t resist purchasing some of the vineyard’s wine to enjoy once we’re back home — a lovely reminder of our stay.
Highly recommend The Cutting , so much better than staying in a caravan park!

The site was completely private, except for the occasional welcome visit from a kangaroo or two, with 360-degree vineyard views and a stunning drive in. Daniel, the host, was incredibly helpful, offering great local recommendations and impeccable communication. 10/10 recommend 🍷

We were so happy to find this gem of a camp site. Minutes from Tanunda, The Cutting hosts guided us to the campsite right at the rear of the property - perched right next to the vines in a totally private clearing . Such a beautiful outlook over the vineyard at sunset by the fire. Doesn’t get better than this.

A lovely peaceful camp site beside a large vineyard. Able to have a fire in our fire pit and plenty of dead wood nearby to maintain a fire.
A great base for exploring the Barossa Valley.
Access would be tricky if it was very wet, but the host Belinda is well aware of that and may close the sight if too wet.

The camps are in the headlands of the winery, away from the main house. We had neighbours on our second night, but far enough away that our kids didn’t both them.
As for the winery tasting experience... “Dynamite comes in small packages” - this little micro-winery has the awards to prove it. We thoroughly enjoyed our intimate wine tasting experience with Belinda. Her enthusiasm and wealth of knowledge really shines through with her presentation. This is a generational family farm, bravely taking on sustainability, modernity and a fresh approach to some fantastic new award-winning wine varieties. So glad we came across this little gem.
