You can have the best of both worlds, the bush on one hand and the bay on the other with Caboolture River boat ramp just 5 minutes away, giving you access to Moreton Bay. So why not kick back and relax away from the stress of city life. Lakeview is a private property not a commercial business, Lakeview is suitable for self-sufficient campers. There are no amenities, so you need to bring or hire your own. All payments are accepted as a donation to help maintain the grounds for our extended Lakeview family. The campsite is situated on the beach, sheltered by the sheoaks in the back dunes. At the rear of the campsite lies a freshwater lagoon, locally known as the keyholes. Currently, two sites are available to be booked. A unique feature includes the opportunity for surfing, fishing, and swimming in your private lagoon. A short drive will take you to Point Lookout. Access is via the beach only and tides are a consideration. Please check "Point Lookout tides" on Willy Weather. I don't normally travel on the beach if the tide is over 1.5 metres.

No amenities, best have your own toilet/shower, 20km as the crow flies from Brisbane CBD. Close to wineries, horse ridding, Kayaking, bush walking art galleries, cafes. Fishing in Lakes Samsonvale, Kurwongbah as well as Paddle down North Pine River to Redcliffe, for fish and chips :). Close to Ocean View winery, Dayboro Cafe and Bakery. Dayboro Country Markets are on the 1st Sun of each mth. Old Petrie Town Market is open every Sun & Museum every day. Stay, rest and relax with a good book, we have a Street Library out the front. Enjoy a camp fire. Loads of bird & wild life about. Pets welcome (on leash), child friendly. You must be self sufficient. You can hire a double person swag $25per night. Fire wood $10. Due to Corona Virus bring your own Dunny if you can.
