Situated in the Caldera under the shadow of Mount Warning is a small secluded acreage within the bend of a large creek. It is comprised of an open creek flat with views of the mountain and horses grazing that is surrounded by some remnant and some regenerated subtropical rainforest along the creek frontage. There are a couple of small private swimming holes and walking tracks along the creek where you can stop and sit for some quiet contemplation, watch the native birdlife, do some forest bathing, or maybe even spot some local platypus or other native wildlife. We offer 4 separate powered sites, that you are welcome to choose from on arrival based on availability. NOTE: two private power sites are available upon request on arrival , if conditions are favourable . You will need to have two power leads to hook to power though. We have room for large caravans, motorhomes and buses. Please note, one vehicle/caravan per site. If you have multiple vehicles/caravans, you will need to book multiple sites. Weather permitting (no rain) we also have two unpowered sites available in another paddock, closer to the creek. There is no power or water at these sites, and you will need to be self-contained. We also have a gazebo/camp kitchen available to all guests where you can relax and take in the tranquil atmosphere of the property. Running water, power, and BBQ are supplied here. All campers must be self-contained at this time, with their own camp toilet. We have Telstra mobile reception here only.

WILDLIFE SPOTTING Situated at 43m above sea level, our land boasts a rich abundance of native plants and wildlife. Marvel at the sight of gorgeous and rare parrots, swamp-faced and golden wallabies, koalas, bush-turkeys, possums, water dragons, and echidnas – a testament to our proud position within a vital conservation area. TO SEE AND DO Explore the winding Currumbin Valley and uncover its hidden gems. Take a trip to the beach, home to the renowned Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary. Indulge in the abundance of delicious cafes just minutes down the road. AMENITIES AND THINGS TO NOTE Prior to booking, please review all site photos. This will help you to decide if our site is a right fit for your needs. The site has an 11% off-level terrain. Assistance aids for levelling your vehicle are available. While tents are welcome, please be aware that the ground is hard gravel and 11% off-level. Most suited to 4WD. Camp trailers, Vans, Camper vans, Roof pop tops, Off-road camp trailers, Expedition trailers, All-terrain vans. Arriving in daylight is highly recommended. If it has rained near the time of your booking, a 4WD is recommended especially if you are towing. Not suitable for caravans unless you are highly proficient in reversing your rig 60m uphill. Reversing and pulling into the site as noted in photos is the best way to utilise the site. Trust us, we know! If you lack confidence in doing so, kindly consider alternative options. The illustrated caravan in the photo is 5 meters. Campers must be fully self-contained with their own camping toilet. Please refrain from arriving and asking where the bathroom facilities are. Domestic power (not 3-phase) and cold town water are provided. Leashed small dogs are permitted; however, pet waste must be promptly removed. If you wish to wander further afield, Kyogle is a 30 minute drive away. And there is an all weather tennis court (with lights) nearby at Bundgeam Hall. Tandem hang gliding gift vouchers are very popular, as you get to take off from the property and flyover you’re campsite and then up to 2500ft. Then come and land right next to your friends and family at the Oz Sky Ranch. We pride ourselves on keeping the property lovely and clean. We are also opening our home and farm to you. So please respect it and enjoy it as we do. We have 5 designated campsites positioned around the property. Within the designated sites, there are camp spots that we rotate. Please check with us to see what ones are open. We need to rotate the sites and rest them. This is how we keep them well-maintained and looking amazing. If it is wet weather we will close down sites and recommend other spots. We rotate the sites and rest them. Then they don’t get overused. We want our camp sites to look lovely for you. The illustrated caravan in the photo is 5 meters. Campers must be fully self-contained with their own camping toilet. Please refrain from arriving and asking where the bathroom facilities are. Domestic power (not 3-phase) and cold town water are provided. Leashed small dogs are permitted; however, pet waste must be promptly removed. Campfires are allowed in the provided fire drum unless there is a local fire ban in place. Bring your own firewood for a cozy evening under the stars.

We opened up our working cattle and turf farm to promote Hang gliding and paragliding, we believe the more people see it, then the more people may like to come for a tandem flight or learn to fly with us. You can buy a friend or loved one a gift of a life time. Tandem hang gliding gift vouchers are very popular, as you get to take off from the property and flyover you’re campsite and then up to 2500ft. Then come and land right next to your friends and family at the Oz Sky Ranch. We pride ourselves on keeping the property lovely and clean. We are also opening our home and farm to you. So please respect it and enjoy it as we do. We have 5 designated campsites positioned around the property. Within the designated sites, there are camp spots that we rotate. Please check with us to see what ones are open. We need to rotate the sites and rest them. This is how we keep them well-maintained and looking amazing. If it is wet weather we will close down sites and recommend other spots. We rotate the sites and rest them. Then they don’t get overused. We want our camp sites to look lovely for you. We pride our self’s on having a lovely property. If it is bad weather, we will recommend another site or we can give you a full refund. Campfires are allowed at designated camp spots when fire bans aren't in place. Firewood is available to purchase . We have a no dog policy. We accept groups however we have strict rules around this, so please discuss with us first. If you are up early in the morning you may be lucky enough to see the best in QLD barefoot water skiers training on the lake and also tandem hang gliders getting towed up from the airstrip.
