Fi and Rods Place

2 sites · RVs5 acres · Humpty Doo, NT
It's the dogs place really, we just pay the mortgage. Located 40 ish minutes from Darwin CBD and 15 minutes to Coolalinga you'll find our little patch of tropical paradise. Our lovely quiet 5 acres is home to an incredible amount of native birds, a resident frill necked lizard, 3 dogs who will adopt you, 2 horses who are always up for a pat and a carrot (or several!) an indoor cat (ginger, need we say more?) and us. We are a young couple who have lived and worked in the NT since 2009. We live a quiet lifestyle but only too happy to swap stories over a cold one in the afternoon. Your stay includes full access to power and water, a pool with spa jets and use of the laundry. Mobile phone reception is exceptional but we do have WiFi you are more than welcome to connect to if need be.

Located just 45 minutes from Darwin CBD, 2 minutes from the local golf club and 4 minutes from the world famous Humpty Doo Hotel. Choices of two local shopping centres. The main road to Kakadu is only a few minutes away. Seasonal waterways are a short stroll away where you might also get to see the local Buffalo. Pets are permitted, and a holding pen and pet sitting can be arranged by prior notification. 1 spot is advertised for your privacy and space, however more than happy to cater for group bookings. Campers must remove own toilet waste.

Mango Road Campsite

1 site · RV, Tent5 acres · Girraween, NT
Purchased this former Mango farm to raise our young family in 2021. Now a family compound housing my young family and my retired parents in a separate Granny flat contained within the Shed. We have since developed the property, purchased livestock and introduced more fruit and veg plants and trees to maintain a ‘sustainable living’ lifestyle. This campsite will suit self-contained campers who have their own camping toilet/shower. There is access to drinking water and rubbish facilities. If you don’t mind the serenades of pigs, goats, chooks or native wildlife, you will enjoy the surrounding environment with access to fresh produce!
