A 200 acre horse breeding property on the outskirts of Tamworth. 6 minutes to the Country Music Capital CBD. Lots of shady trees to camp or park your van/RV. Hills that you can see forever from the top of....

Some outdoor seating. There's two  flush toilets, two  hot showers.

Dogs are welcome but must be strictly on a lead at all times. There is a dog run available if you want to leave your dog and go to town or the Country Music Festival.

Generally most people stay and camp near the horse barn. Indoor shower and toilet available and there is a outdoor hot shower and a sink and a tub to rub a dub dub.  Laundry is available. Ask for the key ($5)

The outdoor shower is private but has no roof so you can shower under the stars. Picnic table provided and a fire pit to barbecue in winter (fire bans in summer)

Transported horses are also welcome...yards available.

Price is per person.

Children under 12 are free.

Spring Creek

TOM CURTAIN will be preforming ON SITE during the 2023 Tamworth COUNTRY MUSIC FESTIVAL! 
Spring Creek is a 1000 acre beef cattle & horse property at Loomberah, 23km from Country Music capital Tamworth, NSW.

Pet friendly (see rules - conditions apply and dogs well controlled). Campfires permitted in designated areas when restrictions aren't in place. Plenty of firewood lying around to gather your own. Please come with your own amenities/camping toilet and leave no trace.

Temple Court, Murrurundi

600 acres on the outskirts of the picturesque town of Murrurundi.On the property you can enjoy scenic bushwalks, a seasonal creek, a large dam and plentiful native wildlife including kangaroos, deer, birdlife and more.Depending on where you set up camp, you can walk or drive into the quaint village of Murrurundi. Situated on the New England Highway, Murrurundi is 30 minutes drive from Scone, 1 hour from Tamworth and 3 hours from Sydney. A picturesque town, nestled on the eastern side of the Great Dividing Range and boasts natural beauty, rich farming land and plenty of character. In town you'll find the recently opened Magpie Gin Distilery, art galleries (including Michael Reid and David Darcy), pubs, historic buildings and every May the King of the Ranges Stockmans Challenge.

The Waterhole 1: A communal haven boasting 20 campsites, nestled by serene dams teeming with Silver Perch and Murray Cod. While facilities include portaloos without showers, the allure of kayaking or cooling off in the dam awaits. Accessible via 4WD, guests can traverse the trails on foot or by bike. Pet-friendly, but leashes are recommended due to abundant wildlife.

Picturesque Maiden Jewel: Spanning the rest of the property, it hosts over 50 campsites, both Private and Communal.

The Long Flat Waterhole 2: Positioned at the property's front, offering easy access to a delightful swimming dam. Ideal for families, it features vast open spaces for recreational activities. Camping here grants access to all waterholes on the property.

For seekers of solitude, inquire about our private sites, like The View Campsite, Hillside Camp, and The Bluff, each boasting spectacular vistas and proximity to fishing and swimming spots.

YellowScone Adventures cater for Glamping escapes to equine enthusiasts, offering various packages allowing guests to bring their horses along. Camp and ride at your leisure, or opt for a unique experience by camping in our Bell tents, with catering services available.

Lucky Horseshoe

Our property is located very close to Tamworth, which is great if you're visiting to attend one of the fantastic annual events held here.

This campsite suits self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water supply. There is access to rubbish facilities.

We have several options, with the first campsite being right near the dam with no power but good shade, and a fairly level site with water available. 

The second is in front of fenced area with access to power, water and lots of shady areas. 

We are happy to accommodate horses and well behaved dogs (stock on property and ducks on dam). You can relax around the crackling campfire in the evenings.

The Australian Equine and Livestock Events Centre (AELEC) is close so if competing we can accommodate your horses and your truck.

For Country Music Festival I will remove horses from one paddock to allow for more campers, if booking looks full please message as may be able to accommodate still. Any bad behaviour will result in campers being asked to leave immediately.

This is the area directly at the front of the property. It’s fully fenced and can access power with a lead and close to toilet and shower if required. Lots of shade and level.
