I have a small private property with grass campsites by a tidal outlet to Port Stephens harbour. We do not offer secluded camp sites away from other people on large acreage.
You can spend your days fishing, kayaking or enjoying Nelson Bay and surrounding areas and beaches which are only 15 minutes away. Guests have the use of a retreat shelter/fire place/BBQ area and wifi.
Campers must try to be self contained bringing their own water, toilet and shower. Sorry, no caravans over 20ft. Suite solo travellers, couples wanting a quiet weekend and LGBT friendly. We do have available tank, rain water for drinking, a toilet and hot shower, microwave and free wifi available for those who cannot be totally self contained. Yes there are mozzies because you are near water, so bring repellent.
Pets are welcome but must stay on a leash throughout your stay.
Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times.
Please BYO firewood.
Fires are only permitted when there are no fire restrictions and in the designated fire pit and designated fire pit area for your own fire pit.

Weekend Trip to Abstobys Retreat
It was my partner and I’s first time glamping/camping and we really enjoyed it. The tent had everything we needed and the bed was super comfortable. Definitely will be back during our next break if we ever get the chance to travel to Nelson Bay.

We had an amazing experience, largely thanks to the incredible location and how comfortable everything was. Set in a peaceful, scenic spot, it felt wonderfully secluded while still being easy to access. The accommodation itself was exceptionally comfortable and felt cozy while still being so spacious . The set up made it so easy and all the necessary cooking utensils were provided which made the cooking situation a breeze , would highly recommend to anyone.

Our stay at Abotsbys Farm Belle tent was great. All very clean and organised and the bed was comfy too. The camping toilet behind the tent worked well and was very private. On a pretty piece of land. Close to everything in Port Stephens. Easy camping!

What a cute setup! I love the addition of the tiny house with the glamping tent, it made cooking and using the bathroom really easy - especially in winter!
The glamping tent was really cosy and had everything you needed. The location was far away from anything else but really easy to get to and access. It was so nice sitting by the fire in the evening and listening to the creek and all the nature around you.
Communication from hosts was great. I'd definitely return!

We had a beautiful time at the tent, we spent a quiet and nice NYE and enjoyed all the beaches around the area, just like we wanted it.
Location is great, near big towns but also secluded to have some rest time, whilst facilities are comfortable to have a chill and restful time in nature.

We stayed over Xmas and it was just perfect. Everything we could ask for. Louise greeted us and showed us around told us about the local attractions. We reccomend the shark and ray encounters! The pre made list of what to bring was super handy and other than we had everything we needed for a perfect few days.

The glamping at Noonaweena was exceptional! The advertising photos don't do the place justice. The camp kitchen is large and well stocked, the tents are set up beautifully and are very cosy. The spot is quite far from other buildings so there's a real sense of privacy. Adam is a great host- very friendly and helpful. We went with our 3 young children and everyone had a great time. Thanks Adam!
