Dairy Park is a working farm on the Central Tablelands of NSW. We farm sheep and cattle, and on the property, you'll find kangaroos, wombats, lots of birdlife and wide-open space.Our campsite is very private next to the seasonal 'Thumbies Creek'. Our family has been here since the early 1820s. A great family-friendly campsite for those seeking a bush experience. Drinking water available but nothing else, no amenities, so you must have everything you need and leave no trace. 2WD most of the year unless rain, then need 4WD. Pets not permitted. Campfires permitted in a designated area only when restrictions aren't in place. Plenty of firewood around to gather fallen timber.All campers have the opportunity to join in our animal feeding every afternoon at 4pm, we'll take you along with us as we feed the chooks, working dogs, pody lambs and whatever else is happening on the farm! Mobile phone reception on the property is available through Optus and Telstra.

A complimentary bottle of Angullong or Philip Shaw wine on arrival, as well as coffee, teas, juice, butter, and jams to complement delicious home-cooked bread. Everything you need to relax and unwind in an idyllic country environment. No noise, no people, just you. Completely private setting. It's a special place in the country; it's quiet, with no neighbors, no traffic, and sensational views. This cottage is built for comfort. It may be small, but it has everything you could possibly need for a weekend away. Just 3.5 hrs from Sydney and Canberra, just far enough to get away from the maddening crowds. If you want to explore, Millthorpe is down the road, with the famous hatted restaurant TONIC, cafes such as Providere and the Old Mill, the Millthorpe Hotel or the Commercial Hotel both equally as good, and boutique shops. Orange is 25 km away, with all the local wineries and beautiful restaurants to indulge in, as well as all the culinary delights that they offer. In Orange there's the best of the best, Lolli Redinis, and out of town is Racine and Borrodell just to name a few. You can enjoy this cottage all for yourselves. Sit on the verandah. Go for a walk in the paddock, or down the road, and meet our belted galloways, that will be wondering in the paddock. A light breakfast is provided, freshly baked bread, squeezed orange juice, sweet jams, and butter. Every type of milk and if you are gluten-free, that's not a problem. Your choice of complimentary wine from our local winery Angullong at Panuara, Philip Shaw, or Tambulaine. Nespresso coffee pods and numerous teas of your choice are all included in your daily price. If you’d like to self-cater, please just ask, and I will adjust the price accordingly.

We had a great stay at the Watton airstrip. We stayed at a riverside site and the water was magical. Damien was super friendly and helpful, offering suggestions on where to go around the area. The property views are unreal and you really feel like you can disconnect from the busy world. I would recommend staying at Watton airstrip if you get a chance. What a unique and stunning property. We stayed on a Monday night so it wasn’t a peak time, however the campsites are well spaced out so that you have your privacy. Thank you for sharing your slice of heaven 🙏

**Camping Review at Watton Airstrip** Our camping experience at Watton Airstrip was truly exceptional, thanks to the wonderful hosts, Damien and Tammie. Their communication was clear and quick, ensuring we felt supported from the moment we inquired about our stay. They took the time to suggest the perfect campsite based on our needs, which made all the difference. The campground itself is fantastic—quiet, well-spaced, and surrounded by beautiful scenery. The kids had a blast interacting with the animals; they especially enjoyed patting the horses and alpacas. To our delight, a few kangaroos even paid us a visit, adding to the charm of the experience. Our campsite was accessible only by 4WD, which made for an enjoyable adventure as we engaged the low-range gears. Overall, the entire camping experience was fun and memorable. We highly recommend Watton Airstrip for anyone seeking a peaceful getaway in nature!

Great, spacious campsites with a remote feel in a picturesque valley along the Macquarie River. The steep access track is quite rugged and definitely 4WD only. Bring your own firewood. The area around the campsites is picked clear.

How fortunate we are that Damian and Tammie have shared this beautiful spot on the river. Great spot for kids to ride bikes, explore the river and interact with horses. We enjoyed collecting firewood from the property and taking in all the wonderful views. We booked the happy camper which was set back from the river, but still with a great view of the river and only a very short and easy walk to get to it. It was the perfect spot for our family with young kids. The site was grassy and very well maintained which made it easier for our newly walking one year old to get around without problem. A portaloo and bins were provided and well maintained. We were towing a lifestyle ICONN E4 with a Prado. 4WD only accurately describes the access but we had no problems getting in or out even with a day of rain before leaving. Damian was very courteous in coming to check that we were comfortable with driving out in the conditions also. We will definitely look forward to visiting again.

Absolutely loved this spot! It was so peaceful falling asleep to the sound of the river at night. Nothing beats sitting by a campfire with a view and waking up to farm animals wandering around - the best experience! Perfect for dogs as well, ours had the best time!

We really enjoyed our time at Hog Heaven camp spot. It was a very relaxing experience beside the riverbed with its sandy beach allowing easy access to the shallow water. We look forward to returning again in the future

We absolutely loved our stay at the hut - we also had some tents outside and the entire experience was a delight. The hut is lovely and the area just gorgeous. Loved swimming, fishing, going for walks and enjoying millions of stars around the campfire. Couldn't recommend more highly. We will be back!

My partner, our puppy, and I had the best time staying at Riverview Cabin. We were originally camping on the property, but when heavy rain set in, we realised our wet weather setup wasn’t ideal. Damien and Tammy were incredibly accommodating, allowing us to book the cabin at the last minute. The cabin was so cosy, and it was amazing to hear the sound of the rain on the tin roof, with the fire already crackling inside when we arrived. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. Staying at the cabin truly made our trip- it was the perfect, relaxing end to our little getaway. We would 100% stay here again, rain or shine!

We absolutely loved our trip to Watton Airstrip. Our trip was last minute, so we secured a spot away from the river at “sticky beak hill”. It was fabulous. A private bush sanctuary, and only a two minute drive down to the river for a splash. The property is just perfect, so picturesque. The kids loved exploring the river, the bush and interacting with the resident horses and llamas. We had some great interactions with Damien and his family, who clearly work very hard to keep this amazing property and its amenities running smoothly. Thank you for having us, we will absolutely be back!

Thankyou Damian and Tammie for a wonderful 3 nights away from the hustle and bustle. You have a Lovely secluded spot that is not overcrowded like other camp sites. PS to campers, make sure you have a capable 4x4 and you will enjoy the tripdown to the River camp sites. And make sure you purchase a load of Tammies Sour dough it was the best .

Great location and Damien and Tammy were great hosts. We stayed at drovers run, which was great to have a view over the river. A lot of space between campers, it felt like we were alone. Definitely plan on coming back, and getting a spot on the river!

Beautifully maintained grassy flat site on the river. Drinking water from the filtered rainwater at the camp kitchen and bin facilities added to the ease of use. Plenty of room for our large group of 25 with 6 4wd's and a couple of camper trailers.

Great spot and nice hosts. Didn't feel crowded as camp spots are well spaced out. The grandkids loved playing in and around the water and were not bored at all. Plan on returning again.

Featuring an amazing rustic cabin, nine riverside campsites, along with paddock and bush sites, all 4WD accessible and two equally stunning 2WD accessible sites. You’ll share our spaces with kangaroos, wallabies, emus, echidnas, deer, platypus and more. Enjoy some optional extras, including Tammie's home made bread, farm fresh, free range eggs, or one of our range of grazing platters, home made jams or hot chocolate kits. Or pamper yourself with a Crystal reiki session, or tarot reading. The 2WD accessible sites feature spectacular views to the right, towards Mt Panorama and Mt Horrible and towards Mt Canobolas to the left. Lie back in your swag at night and let the star struck, velvety sky envelope you, or make a booking at the nearby Bathurst Observatory to see the stars up close. Each campsite offers its own unique features for you to enjoy and a hand crafted pit toilet is accessible to those camped along the river bank. Fish or swim in the river, ride your bikes, or set up camp and then head off on an adventure to the Goldfields at Ophir, or History Hill at Hill End via the Bridle Track. Better still, book into a pub crawl with Damo so you can lie back and enjoy the ride. There are plenty of opportunities for 4WDing and bushwalking in the local area. Fires are allowed (fire restrictions permitting). Wood can be collected from fallen wood around the property, or bring your own if you prefer. Pets are welcome for a one off fee per animal. We do ask that pets are supervised at all times and that they do not interfere with farm animals or local wildlife.

Artisans Park is a farm set on top of a mountain which is sometimes windy sometimes snowing and being a farm we have animals and spiders and everything that nature includes note we can not control the weather or nature, there are no local coffee shops, we are not connected to the electricity. This is a camping site and our stays are like camping all heating is wood hot water is gas and lights are solar, No TV no power points no fancy appliances. If you like camping and staying in something unique Artisans Park is the place for you, If you want a luxurious five star stay we are defiantly not the place our stays are basic and clean. 1949 London Bus, WW2 Army Tower, 1885 Trig Hut Artisans Park is located 45 minutes from Bathurst and is the closest city for food and fuel. We do not have local shops or fuel stations. The London bus is suitable for children as the upper deck houses the bedroom. The lower deck houses the kitchen and bathroom with a front deck complete with barbecue and amazing views. Relax and watch the kangaroos and eagles from your private deck. Summer swimming in the crystal clear river and winter camp fires where you can toast marshmallows. The lower level has a cooktop "no oven or fridge share fridge at entrance of park", outside gas BBQ and tables. You will need to bring your own drinking water. There is a toilet and shower downstairs. The top deck has two small single beds and one double, quilts and pillows however BYO linen sheets and towels. This bus has featured on many TV shows and is often featured in travel magazines, including on Better Homes and Gardens television in 2013 and in many magazines shoots. No pets please. once again no pets including dogs.

We are Marilyn and Peter, we own, live and run a mixed farming business from this beautiful land, located in the Central Tablelands NSW. The country varies between undulating and steep land and has 7 km of double frontage Bell River running through it. The river can range from rapidly flowing to the more usual steady flowing and is most often very clear. The river has numerous swimming spots, some with a rocky base, and some with sand. The winding river and the varying countryside is incredibly peaceful and beautiful and is a perfect retreat for those looking to disconnect and relax. The river has its origin near Orange and is also fed into by many springs. Weandre Creek runs in the backcountry and winds into the Bell River. Our comfortable Hut is situated on an elevated spot looking down on the river with a graduated road leading down. It has everything you need for a relaxing, recharging stay in nature. The Hut can accommodate up to 4 people, however, you also have the option for up to 6 additional guests to set up swags, tents, or a camper trailer nearby. There is space next to the Hut, or for those with a 4WD, there are some lovely camping sites down by the river. We also offer sites for those looking for a self-contained camping site, in a beautiful location. We love the solitude, the endless bush walks, swimming, and being immersed in nature. We are confident you will too. We also have a lovely art gallery on the property, and for a small fee and prior arrangement, you are welcome to come and take a look. From our farm, it is 60 km to Orange with all its wineries, food festivals, and many attractions. Wellington is 40 km and boasts the Wellington Caves. Dubbo is 90 km and is a big inland city and boasts the Western Plains Zoo. We are so glad to let you know we have a new (but intentionally rustic) structure which houses a shower powered by gas and solar with gravity fed water. Showers need to be short because water supply is limited. In a separate space is a gas BBQ and sink. This is pictured in our latest photos. This building also looks down on the Bell river which looks sensational at the moment due to all the rain.
