Camp Site One is at the top of our beautiful mountain and offers a very rare and special camping experience. Surrounded by pristine Australian bush and incredible rock formations, Camp Site One is a true gem that very few people have had the chance to experience—until now! Camp Site One is currently only accessible on foot or by horse. However, over half the climb can be done by 4WD. The second half of the climb takes you past amazing natural formations with many photo opportunities. The climb has been achieved by people in their 70s, though a reasonable level of fitness, appropriate clothing (including sturdy footwear), and sun protection is advisable. Camp Site One is one of the most peaceful places to camp, with a truly healing energy. Camp Site Two offers an awesome site with a mountain view. It is suitable for dirt bikes, horses, 4WDing, hiking, and much more. To access Site Two, a 4WD vehicle is preferable; however, it can be accessed by 2WD with sufficient clearance in dry weather. Camp Site Three is accessible by 4WD trail only. Site Three is a real gem, a large area at the back of the mountain accessible by one trail in and out. It is suitable for dirt bikes, 4WDs, horses, hiking, exploring, and much more. We also have unpowered sites for caravans and RVs. If you wish to camp on a site that requires 4WD access but do not have a 4WD, we can assist and drive you in and out for a small fee of $10 each way. All sites have mobile phone coverage. We have a stunning 640 acre cattle farm nestled in the hills of the Northern Tablelands, overlooking the Wellingrove Valley. Redbank has many beautiful places and things to see, including two natural gullies full of native birds and wildlife, native woodlands, four beautiful dams and wild fallow deer. Redbank also has about 140ha set aside under Biodiversity Conservation Trust. This is a "no drive" area but always open to walking. There is a map available to show where everything on the property is located. Redbank features diverse terrain, from secluded forests and woodlands to open undulating paddocks with excellent views and sunsets. A campfire is allowed, however it needs to be kept at a reasonable size, especially during fire restriction periods. Please keep the fire within the allocated fireplace provided. At times we provide guests with firewood when we are able, but they are permitted to use nearby timber collected themselves. We have multiple campsites available, however we realise that you may want to be independent and camp in a unique place! We understand this, however we will direct you to a spot which best suits the campers' and their vehicle type, as some of our tracks are 4x4 only. We limit numbers of groups to the number of campsites available. In this way, we protect the environment and wildlife. We will be here to help you decide on the best campsite on arrival. There is some access to water (not necessarily drinking), but you will need to bring your own shower. There are no rubbish facilities or showers and limited access to toilet facilities. Pets are welcome but must be kept under your control at all times as we have cattle on the property. We have a friendly Maremma guardian dog who can turn up unannounced. He will most probably lick you to death.

The property is so spectacular, that parts of it have even been featured on TV's Farmer Wants a Wife. The terrain is rugged and hilly, but the host has created easy access to several excellent, grassy camping sites some exclusive to one group at a time, others around the large dam but still with plenty of space. They all have good road access for even 2WD, provided they have good clearance. The creek and rocks are stunning and will provide hours of fun. Fishing tours are run on the property at an extra cost, it is strictly catch and release and must discuss it beforehand with the host. We do not permit hunting as we want our guests to have and enjoy the tranquility and space. Please note, that our Farmer Wants a Wife site has a long-drop toilet and designated fire ring, however, our other sites are for completely self-contained campers only. If you are visiting during the shearing season, you are welcome to come and check it out for an insight into farm life! Pet friendly, but only small breeds, and must be kept on a lead at all times. Please discuss bringing your dog with the host before booking. Campfires are ok provided you BYO firepit, and they are kept small and manageable. There is plenty of fallen timber you are welcome to collect for firewood. Strictly no cutting down of trees. No campfires during fire bans, or when conditions are not favourable. Whilst fishing tours are possible on the property, you must discuss your interest with the host prior as there are important rules around this and is , it's strictly catch-and-release only. We do not allow hunting of any description so that our visitors can have a quiet and relaxing stay without interruptions. Just five minutes up the road is Green Valley Fun Park with a huge playground, jumping pillow, animal walkabout, museum and 18 hole mini putt. So plenty to keep kids entertained both on and off the property!

"Glendawn" is a small farming/ cattle grazing property with many beaut spots for camping. There are 2 sites with access to power and a few others without. It's a great place to get away but not too far from town. Fire pits and some firewood provided. We have a powered site in the old Woolshed. The Woolshed has had some modifications. It has a camp kitchen, hot and cold running water, toilet & shower. There is a fridge, toaster, kettle, microwave, gas BBQ, outdoor fire pit, chairs, power and lighting. Large central area indoors. Its a delightful spot in the paddock to enjoy being "in the country". The woolshed itself is 2WD accessible. In the winter months its really quite cold overnight. There's a great outdoor firepit and I provide firewood for $10. There's a patio heater too and its 8kg gas cylinder costs $30. I will provide the first one. This venue has been popular for families 'plugging in' their vans and for others to roll their swags out either inside the shed or under the stars. Privacy and peace and quiet in abundance here. We also have unpowered camping in the paddocks. There are a few places with shade near a dam, by the old hayshed, or on a hill with views over the valley, excellent sunsets and a clearing for camping, 4WD accessible. Children under 12 stay for free on unpowered sites!

There is a shed to provide shelter for your food prep etc. There is a sink under the awning but you will need to carry water in a container to wash dishes. Outside there is wood-burning BBQ the camping paddock is fully fenced in . For 4WD enthusiasts, there are good camping spots at the top of the mountain ridge however need to be self contained eg toilet. You will need to bring your own fresh drinking water supply and unleaded fuel to run the water pump and generator. We have secure cattle yards as a holding space if holidaying with your horses (please see Extras for horse facility fees). Enjoy scenic horse rides around the valley and relax in front of the campfire by night. Dogs on leashes are welcome. This Hipcamp honestly took our breath away. The view alone is incredible, and the beautiful white flowers around the property made the whole place feel extra special the moment we arrived. It was really easy to find and access, and the location itself was peaceful and quiet — exactly what we were hoping for. When we pulled in, we saw a little kid feeding the horses and it was honestly the cutest, most wholesome welcome ever. The horses were gorgeous, and the amenities were spotless. The hot shower was perfect, and having a laundry available felt like such a luxury while camping. Our dog had the best time exploring the space, and we’d definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a calm, scenic getaway. Would absolutely stay again.

We loved our stay at Glendawn on the Woolshed site! We had plenty of space to ourselves and the Woolshed was perfect to have especially on the stormy night that we decided to stay! Host John went out of his way to ensure our every need was catered for and a wealth of interesting information. Private camping area on level sites with view of the rolling hills. We enjoyed the bbq and Camfield at night with wood supplied. Hot shower and kitchenette was a great bonus.

Beautiful secluded spot on the Severn River. We had the spot to ourselves - perfect for relaxing. Pretty landscape and nights were great for viewing stars, the Super moonrise, and lightning storms rolling across. Take your own firewood and a gazebo (limited shade).

Annabelle and Dave were just wonderful hosts on their property, and this place was absolute paradise, parked on top of the mountain with full amenities, water power and a five star resort bathroom absolutely beautiful. Highly recommend.

Cathy and John are very warm and welcoming hosts, I was very well looked after, with a campfire prepared with plenty of wood to burn and a BBQ is available if required. There is also a shower, toilet and a fully functional kitchen available. The camp site is very private and beautifully presented with chairs and table and flat mowed grass area for your tent. I will definitely be back, and happy to describe my stay as awesome.

What a gem of a place and so close to home! Susannah was a great host, nothing was a problem. Beautiful location, we had a great site, right on the river, mowed and clean. Sites are located along the river and well spaced out with your own little piece of paradise. Sites to suit all kinds of campers. Will definitely be back.

1 night at New Valley Dreaming

Amazing experience camping at New Valley, Kay was so helpful to arrange the stay for our group of 3 families, tent, swags and a caravan. Freedom to pretty much do what we wanted, collect wood, fire, music etc. grassy area made it easy for camping especially with a baby. Kay and her husband were happy to show us around and let us explore the waterfall and rock pools on the property too. Would stay again for sure.

Great spot, very quiet. Barry went out of his way to help and to give some background of the farm. The dedication and amount of time and effort which has gone into the place is impressive. Caught enough yabbys for a yabby race which the kids loved. They’re very keen to come again soon. Cheers
