4WD access ONLY. Entrance is via a steep decent that must be in L4WD. Suitable for rooftop campers, tents and swags.
Our ‘leave no trace policy’ requires campers to bring everything they need and take all rubbish when leaving. Campfires must comply with local fire restrictions and be contained within fire pits. BYO firewood or chainsaw to use river driftwood for your campfire. No trees are to be cut down.
Some supplies are available at Sofala 8kms away including at the Royal Sofala Hotel or the Sofala General Store. The nearest fuel is at Wattle Flat General Store, 15kms. 50km to Bathurst via Sofala Rd, 100kms to Lithgow or 95kms to Mudgee via Sofala-Ilford Rd & Castlereagh Hwy.
Dogs are welcome, but must be supervised and under control at all times, livestock may be nearby.
