Susnet camp at Joadja definitely lived up to the name. A nice place to watch the sunset, fire pit and chairs and good facilities. The owners were very lovely.

Drive in is beautiful through the open paddocks then once in property driving through sets the tone of a quite stay and peaceful, sunset is a smaller private spot loved the table and chairs Leanne has set up to enjoy breaky and dinner especially as it was a bit of stormy weather. The peacocks sound great and loved their calling noises during my stay. The walks on the property are nice simple walks but enjoyable but must do the George walk absolutely stunning. Whilst I am a complete self contained camper the toilet and shower was really nice and great set up

Camp site was gorgeous. The only think keep in mind that you on the big rock. So will be hard to safe you tent to the ground.
Nice animals on farm, donkey and lama, dogs and chickens.
Host is very nice and helpful.

We enjoyed our stay at Leanne’s property. We stayed at Sunset which had a lovely view facing west and the camping spot was neat. The camping ground has a slight incline but it can be managed easily. Great campfire pit and a table and 4 chairs provided. Plenty of wood around to make fire. Recommend the walk down near the gorge campsite, the views of the canyon are breathtaking. Leanne was very friendly too!!

The environment at this camp was undoubtedly very peaceful to experience. The well-maintained grounds allowed for a sense of tranquility to be felt. There was ample space between areas, which ensured privacy and a sense of seclusion. This aspect truly contributed to a more relaxed stay for everyone. Overall, it was a great environment for a peaceful retreat.

Great spot for a pretty sunset over the trees and a quiet, private camp. The property is easy to find, there are great walking trails, awesome views of the gorge and short walk to amenities.
My only tip for this campsite is reconsider if windy, even in the slightest. Although winds were supposed to die down in the evening, we got smashed with wind gusts every so often that prohibited our fire (campsite is super dry and wind-tunneling) and bent our tent. No stargazing either :(

A great place to camp. The campsites are well separated from each other. You wont see anyone unless you are all walking the trail to the bathroom facilities. I stayed at Sunset. A beautifull spot, plenty of firewood to collect, ravines and gorge to explore. Nice evening campfire as the sun sets. I stayed for 2 nights, but more nights required. Leanne, provided a ton of info about the property and surrounding area.

The Sunset Campsite really does deliver when it comes to peace, quiet and serenity.
Absolutely wonderful sitting by the fire with good food and relaxing even on the frostiest of mornings.
Plenty of wildlife if you’re quiet enough and beautiful views of Joadja Gorge only a short walk away.
Lovely clean toilet and outdoor shower only just up the hill and plenty of fire wood.
Such an accomodating host who has such a beautiful patch of land they choose to share.

Clean campsite with lots of space. Site is generally on a slope, easily fixed though with RTT, just leveled the car with some rocks lying about. Heaps of firewood about, and a big firepit area. Table and chairs were handy. Great location overall, easy to get into Berrima 25mins. Beautiful Bush walk half way up to the toilet and off to the right. Some good tracks to choose from. We had perfect winter weather, sunny days and cold clear nights. Would definitely stay again.

Each spot on the property is secluded and unique, giving you plenty of space and privacy during your stay.
The toilet and shower are a great addition to the property recently, but we only stayed two nights, in winter, so didn’t test out the cold shower this time.
Provided fire pits were handy and they helped keep the chill at bay, with plenty of wood around the property.
Stunning views of the gorge and a few small trails to walk through parts of the property.
Located near a few wineries and Joadja Distillery and Historic Village, which is definitely worth a visit, as well as historic Berrima and other local towns in the Highlands.
Only suggestion is to remember to check the forecast as we had looked for temp and rain before arriving, but hadn’t factored in the reasonably strong winds. Didn’t ruin our trip, but could have been too much for some. This is obviously a location tip and in no way something that Leanne can control. Just good to be prepared.

Sunset camp was an amazing spot with great views in the evening and night time. Misty mornings made for relaxing sleep ins and there was very little disturbances from neighbours (occasional dog or chicken 😁 ) Jordja historic town and distillery is just down the road for those interested in a tour or a tasting. Would recommend to anyone.

What a great peaceful spot to camp. Tommy greeted us on arrival he was well mannered and very helpful. Would definitely recommend staying here. Flush toilet was very clean and well maintained. Loads of firewood around the place. Stargazing don’t get much better and the canyon is amazing wish I had my drone to get some good footage.
