4 nights at Quorragami

The view at the site was beautiful and specially around sunset, we managed to have a nice hot bath which was so nice under the stars. The toilet and shower were very clean and easy to use, will definitely come back in the future. Charly was very friendly and helpful, always responded fast, highly recommended.

I loved camping here! It was raining however the site did not flood and the amenities were perfect for two nights. The host was lovely as well, thank you for your hospitality.

Absolutely stunning spot, the best facility’s including the loo with a view 😉 but on a more serious note…..I think the best view in the Hunter. We loved everything about our stay and can’t wait to get back there! Thank you!

Weekend Trip to Quorragami

Had a wonderful 2 nights on Damian and Charly's property even through persistent rain. The view is beautiful, access easy with excellent directions given by Damian, shower and loo perfect, and the peacefulness reminiscent of total remoteness even though we were only 45 minutes from Newcastle. We sadly had the fire stoked well and truly but were unable to get the hot tub warm enough to enjoy. Despite this, we would definitely return. Thanks Damian and Charly for a lovely mothers day weekend.

Weekend Trip to The Bower Farm

Loved my stay at the Bower Farm Collective. Matthew and Rachel have really paid attention to the little details and aesthetic to make this glamping experience enjoyable. If you've camped before you will love having everything there plus a kind size bed! If you haven't, it's a great Into to camping with a little extra comfort and luxury thrown in. Perfect friendly hosts! Highly recommend!

My wife, daughter, and I spent a weekend camping on Damien’s property and had a truly relaxing experience. The location is incredibly quiet and peaceful, perfect for unwinding. The toilet and shower facilities are excellent, but the highlight for us was definitely the large hot tub overlooking the valley. It's heated by a wood fire in a nearby fire pit and takes a couple of hours to warm up, but it’s absolutely worth the wait. We spent hours soaking in the tub while enjoying some local wines - pure bliss. The property has only recently opened to guests, and Damien and his family have done a fantastic job creating a luxury camping experience.

2 nights at The Bower Farm

The Bower Farm Glamping Experience was outstanding! The setting is remarkable; there is a nice flat outlay where the Tent is located, and a beautiful creek that runs through their property which you can walk along and explore. The amenities are beyond what you would expect for an off-grid escape. Matt & Rachel were personable, friendly and very accommodating. They both went to great lengths to ensure that our stay was both comfortable and enjoyable. Some highlights from the Trip were the Hot Tub, the amazing view of the Stars at Night, the cozy King Size Bed and we even got to see a Platypus in the wild thanks to their suggestions on where to look. Stroud is a humble town with plenty to see and do. There are Cafes, Wineries and a Distillery only a short drive away. Can't recommend enough! Will definitely be back.

3 nights at Carawirry Forest Escape

The cottage was a stunning place to spend the weekend even though it rained so we didn’t get to explore as much of the bush as we would have liked. Loved the maps which greeted us with so many surprising options to explore. We walked lyrebird and yowie tracks which were challenging but very rewarding. No lyrebird sightings this time round but definitely worth the climb up the side of the mountain. Had a lovely time chilling with the walleroos in the outdoor tub after that one!

Nestled under the Watagan mountains escarpment in the Hunter valley, the property has some amazing views in all directions, but still remains secluded and hidden from view. The property has been selectively cleared to maintain a balance of open land and untouched bushland which has a boundary to the Watagans National Park. The animal life is very diverse as many species transition from the Watagans into the property and many live on site full time. These include flocks of amazing bird species such as Gang gang and Black Cockatoos, resident Wedge tailed eagles, Kookaburras, finches, honey eaters, Coucals, Lyrebirds and more. Wallabies of various types are common, and Sugar gliders can be seen on the flowering Eucalypts. The camping areas for RV's sit on a large elevated flat area that border a large gorge with broken views towards the Hunter Valley vineyards. The Gorge (or Canyon) is rimmed by caves and has rainforest type trees in the bottom. The caves can be explored and the rainforest can be walked if you are fit! The tent and camper trailer areas are terraced into an area of slight slope with a number of sites to chose from. Non potable water taps are available at each caravan site and at intervals in the camping area. This water is clear fresh dam or bore water and can be used for showers, washing up etc. Two flush toilets are available for use by both RV's and campers. There is a central fire pit. We have a private site which has open views over the Hunter Valley to the Vineyards and beyond to the Barrington tops. This site has a cliff edge pool that comfortably fits up to 4 people for a dip. This area has a large fire pit that can be used to heat the pool in winter. This site has its own flushing toilet and Shower. This site is best suited to a caravan as it is terraced, though it would be possible to setup tents or a camper van in this location also. This can also be booked as a group site. 16minutes to Cessnock, 25minutes to the M1, 2.25 hours to Sydney central and 25 minutes to Pokolbin. The location is generally very peaceful with all sorts of wildlife. There is plenty of ground sticks for fire wood and bulk timber for purchase. There are 2 dams that can be fished on request (catch and release cod and bass)
