The gravel driveway to the sites is passable with any vehicle As long as the vehicle Does not have an aftermarket lowered profile or entirely overloaded with gear. We offer camping ranging from primitive tent sites, to an actual cabin. Hikers, kayakers, canoes, Horses and riders welcome, located a couple miles from Daniel Boone National Forrest, seemingly endless trails through some of the most beautiful country. Bring your canoe and kayaks. Located 16 miles from Cumberland Falls State Park. Located 11 miles from Sheltowee Trade Adventure Park. Located 11 miles from Kentucky Splash Water Park. 11 miles from The Mint Casino!! Clayton Geneva Camp Ground began as a retreat for our family since the 70's. My grandparents, Donald Clayton Russell & Jewel Geneva (Davis) Russell, purchased this little piece of heaven to get away from the hustle and bustle of Cincinnati life. Judy was born in a little cabin just down the road. Judy & Don along with many family members have made cherished memories here over the years. We want to share its beauty with you and your family. Please consider, Clayton Geneva is a primitive campground, gravel drives and left as natural as possible. This is not a sculpted campsite or a concrete campground. The primitive area is as such, gravel, grass, sand terrain accessible by a one lane gravel drive that leads over the hill and around the cliff to the riverbank. This drive is absolutely passable however is left bumpy to keep traffic at a safe speed as pedestrians also walk the drive. It is passable by any vehicle as long as the vehicle is not overloaded beyond its ability and/or has an extremely low profile. Any area that is not an actual campsite is left to nature, not manicured, trimmed or sculpted. As you’ll find all the sites are clear please don’t expect micromanaging of wild growth of our native plants in areas around the sites as we reserve those areas for the wildlife to enjoy. Please consider all the above mentioned details, primitive campsites are not for everyone and that’s ok.

Sycamore Cove

This lovely little spot sits at the end of the primitive campground area, is directly on the riverbank. It sits right next to the water access common (public) area. Its lovely tree canopy provides adequate shade and makes for a nice hammock spot. It offers a lovely view of the Cumberland River, sit and enjoy the lovely sounds and smells that mother nature has to offer. Kayak, canoe, fish, wade, swim, relax and let the world pass you bye from this cherished little spot. We are approximately 25 minutes from Cumberland Falls, which host miles of hiking trails. Yahoo falls, Eagle Falls, dog slaughter falls are also just a few of the other waterfall features to visit while you’re in the area. Clayton Geneva memorial campground is located directly on the KAT Kentucky Adventure Tour, just off of the copperhead trail in about 30 minutes from Sterns and the big south fork railroad. Just too many great things to list. The driveway runs behind the site which also serves as the trail to the public common water access area. Showers, flushing toilet, WiFi, vending machines, firewood, river tubes are all available on site. Do you take note that the site is the furthest from amenities as it is the last site. Trading sites is not permitted, even in the event of inclement weather. These campsites are on the river, one must assume that there will be some moisture, damp conditions and wet grounds when booking a site on a riverbank. We are inviting you to enjoy a peaceful, primitive tent/vehicle camping experience at a lovely plot just above the sandy banks of the Cumberland River. Riverbank Overlook Site overlooks the riverbank and is not directly riverside. The river is in clear view only obstructed in staggering areas for privacy & and is approximately 100 ft away from the river bank. There are common areas directly on the riverbank for you to access the river. This site has 110 electric access, WiFi. Potable water available at the spigot near restroom. Offering a tree canopy covered, serene spot that allows for river swimming, fishing, enjoy a camp fire or just plain nothing but peace and quiet. Each site is equipt with a fire ring. The drive way to the primitive sites is a little bumpy lane that wraps around a mountain side that leads to the primitive sites. It is also one way. The drive to the site has an incline to the site. Due to the nature of the driveway it’s recommended to leave your vehicle on the topside of the property of your plan to be coming and going a lot. This is a primitive camp Hikers, Horses and riders welcome, located a couple miles from Daniel Boone National Forrest, seemingly endless trails through some of the most beautiful country. We offer a tree canopy covered, serene spot that offers river swimming, fishing, enjoy a camp fire or just plain nothing but peace and quiet. Each site is equipt with a fire ring. The drive way to the primitive sites is a little lane that wraps around a mountain side that leads to the primitive sites. We do our best to keep up with it however due to the nature of weather, gravity and water it’s a constant chore. Your welcome to hike in to the sites, it’s not mandatory that you driver on down. If you feel comfortable by all means slowly drive directly to your site. If your not sure of the lane please hike to your site. Hikers, Horses and riders welcome, located a couple miles from Daniel Boone National Forrest, seemingly endless trails through some of the most beautiful country. Bring your canoe and kayaks. Located 16 miles from Cumberland Falls State Park. Located 11 miles from Sheltowee Trade Adventure Park. Located 11 miles from Kentucky Splash Water Park. Located 11 miles from Wal-Mart, restaurants and Pilot. There are common Areas that are for use of everyone staying at the campground, one is located mid deck and the other all the way to the property line is also a common area. When you rent the riverbank alol exclusive, that does not include those areas.

This couples cabin allows you to enjoy the natural surroundings and take in the wilderness without traveling to far off the beaten path. Wake up being serenaded by the local birds starting their day. Watch the sunrise from its humble front porch. Fall asleep to the lulling sounds of the frogs and crickets. Just a short walk to the river side where you can enjoy fishing, kayaking, wading or just hang a hammock and watch the world go by. This cabin is an electric only cabin, including a furnished queen sized bed, mini fridge, microwave, coffee pot, dining table, smart TV, dresser and end tables. Air conditioning & a heater is also available for use. Cot available is needed for an additional guest. Clayton Geneva is located right on the Cumberland River. While you’re not out on the trails you can take a swim, fish, canoe....Or just kick the boots off and relax along the sandy shaded river bank. Minutes from Downtown Williamsburg, home to the mint gaming hall, Kentucky, splash, water, park, Cumberland college, many restaurants and other attractions to enjoy. We are approximately 25 minutes from Cumberland Falls, which host miles of hiking trails. Yahoo falls, Eagle Falls, dog slaughter falls are also just a few of the other waterfall features to visit while you’re in the area. Clayton Geneva memorial campground is located directly on the KAT Kentucky Adventure Tour, just off of the copperhead trail in about 30 minutes from Sterns and the big south fork railroad. The driveway to this venue Although completely passable with most vehicles, as long as it’s not a lowered vehicle, is a gravel one lane/one driveway that wraps around the side of the hill leading you to the riverbank. There’s alternate parking on the top side of the property if you choose, but just know that the driveway to this primitive set up is a primitive path. Absolutely beautiful water-front sites. Porta-potties were clean, shower was clean. Amber is great, very responsive and works with you. The only thing that could have been better is fewer camp sites - they are pretty close together without much separating them. We had the place to ourselves the first 2 nights, but had close neighbors the last night and decided to pack up and go home early. If there were 2 sites on the river instead of 4, it would have been pretty good. All in all, great trip, good facilitates, friendly service, and amazing views!

What a beautiful spot! Amber, the camp hostess, loves her property and you can feel that. It’s well kept, inviting and peaceful. She’s a busy woman but if you get a chance to talk to her she can tell you a little bit about the history behind Clayton Geneva. It’s well worth the stay.

Very quiet with lots of cute hobby farm animals across the road. A 30 minute drive to Cumberland Falls State Park which has lots of nice trails. Enjoyed having full hook up and peace & quiet.

What a great location! Beautiful views and well maintained tent sites, porta potties and shower. If there is ANY rain in the forecast, DO NOT BOOK the banks end spot, IT FLOODS! Just that spot though :) she allowed us to switch spots and we were back to super satisfied. Super cute animals and so close to great outdoor adventures.

It was a very spacious campsite with some privacy. Our tent, canopy and vehicle fit in easily with extra room to spare. Amber was very prompt in replying to all the requests we had. One of the nights there was a group who were being loud beyond sleeping hours and felt never ending. But Amber took care of it. Overall, the campsite was great but Amber made it amazing by being attentive to all our requests.

I had the Old Stump” campground near the river. Even though the road to get down there is gravel and uneven in some areas, I was able to get all the way down to my campsite in a 2012 Honda Civic. The campsite was well kept, and included a fire pit and picnic table. I was able to order some firewood through the app and I was surprised with the amount Amber brought down to the campsite. I did a last minute kayak trip through the campground and it was fun. I liked that it ended right at my campsite.

Site 3 - Full Hook Up RV Parking
The ease of getting in and out of the campground was spectacular. Amber met us as soon as we arrived, which was convenient, but not necessary. She is a delight. We love her farm, all the animals, the chickens, even the tame spring fawn that is in the area. Good luck with getting that little one back into the wild, Amber. The fresh eggs were a delight, and she was willing to refund our money for the fire wood we purchased which was honorably. Just pay it forward to your next fans. It was just way too hot to have a campfire. Tent camping buy the river would be a blast but we are past the age of appreciating that.

We only stayed for one night, but this place offers lots more that what meets the eye. The owner is the best. Greeted us as we arrived, gave me to low down on the fishing, recommended me and my wife to eat at a place called “the hunt and the harvest!” (5 ⭐️) Offered fire wood and has a bunch of different add ons you add to your stay! The camp site was marked, clean and was absolutely perfect. The bathrooms were SUPER CLEAN! Needed more time to get the full experience, Over all We will be back 100% loved our stay on the banks end

We had an amazing time at Amber's property. The RV sites had all the basic things for hookup and the bathhouse was nearby. Only downside to the sites was a lack of shade. The hike down to the river was nice and we enjoyed a quick swim. Amber hung out for a bit and shared about her family's farm and animals. She has put a lot of work into this property, and we will definitely be back to enjoy it again!

Amazing spot in the Birdsong cabin. Accomodations are perfect. We enjoyed the creature conforts after a couple of nights in the tent. Amber's whole property is great and she tends to it and hosts with a lot of care! I highly recommend.
