Fantastic time! Diane and Tom are wonderful hosts, the dads and kids had a blast. Definitely doing it again next if they’ll have us!
Loved our stay on Diane and Tom’s land, we felt incredibly welcomed and had the most wonderful time seeing all the animals and relaxing at our campsite. Great spot for beginner campers and those who want to stay somewhere with indoor plumbing and a short drive to stores if needed. No complaints at all, it was great! Just don’t forget your bug spray!
We had a great time learning about and meeting the goats and alpacas! The location was serene and the facilities were very good.

We loved visiting with Diane, her husband and all of her animals. It is a lovely stay and so happy to see the respect for the animals and our planet that Diane shows. We were in Elizabeth on business but might go back just to enjoy the views and a bit of nature. Thank you so much for such a wonderful time.

We had a wonderful stay at Falkor Ranch! Communication was easy and finding the place was relatively straight forward, although I would suggest arriving before sundown if you have a tent to set up. Diane and Tom were gracious hosts and our Beyond Camping time was very educational and hands on. My kids (12 and 8) are looking forward to coming back and I was informed by my 8 yo that goats are their favorite animal now.

My son and I had a great couple of days here. The hosts were fabulous and we loved all of their animals. I highly recommend.
Diane and Tom are excellent and friendly hosts, along with Titan and the rest of the welcoming committee of dogs, goats and alpacas that welcome you to the ranch. The bathroom facilities are a great feature. So, so much better than a stinky portable potty. The setting is beautiful. You’d never think that you’re as close to the conveniences of Elizabeth as you are. Don’t overlook this place. My daughters and I absolutely loved our time there.
Their ranch is beautiful and well taken care of. It is very obvious that they both love their land and all of the animals. Everything is tiptop!!!
We enjoyed getting to know Titan, one of the guardian dogs.

We had such a wonderful stay at this Hipcamp! Diane and her husband were amazing hosts and made us feel incredibly welcome from the moment we arrived. Their beautiful patch of land is home to goats, alpacas, and chickens, which made the experience even more special.
The property was quiet, peaceful, and the perfect place to relax and unwind. One of my favorite parts of the stay was listening to them talk about their animals. You could truly hear the passion in their voices and see how much love and care they put into each one. I learned so much from them and really appreciated the opportunity to experience their farm and hospitality firsthand.
If you’re looking for a peaceful, welcoming place with kind hosts and a genuine farm experience, I highly recommend staying here!

We had a fantastic camping experience. Communication was excellent and directions led us directly to the property.
The farm animals were healthy and provided loads of entertainment. View from the property is beautiful. You can even see a section of the Rocky Mountains.
Our hosts made us feel comfortable, safe and valued. We strongly recommend.

We had a great weekend at Falkor ranch! It was peaceful, quiet and we woke up to all the friendly goats and alpacas grazing near our tent. Their sweet calm dogs kept watch over us and we felt very protected and safe. The owners gave us a tour and taught us about each group of animals and were kind and considerate of our son with Autism. ❤️❤️❤️

I definitely recommend this place. So peaceful. Tom & Diane made sure we felt welcomed and comfortable. They are very knowledgeable and so kind. Tom offered us a tarp for the bottom of our tent, we very much appreciate it. We were passing through for work & it was a wonderful break from being on the road for my husband, me, & our 2 year old son. Our son loves the outdoors so he absolutely loved it here. Their alpacas & goats were so sweet, my son would go and say hi to them often. But their dog Titus won our hearts over, he’s so huge and so loving. I really enjoyed spending time with him while we sat on the grass under some tree shade. We had access to a restroom and shower as well as a room that was like a kitchen with a sink where you can wash some dishes if needed. It is shared with other guest, which is not an issue. This is such a lovely place. And I hope to one day come across this one again. Thank you Tom & Diane for everything.

From the moment we arrived at Falkor Ranch, nestled high on the Palmer Divide, it felt like stepping into a peaceful, storybook setting—with sweeping views of Pikes Peak and the Rockies, surrounded by 35 acres of rolling hills under big Colorado skies.
Diane was an exceptional host—warm, welcoming, and so generous with her time and knowledge. She greeted us with a gracious tour of the ranch: introducing us to friendly alpacas and Nubian goats, explaining their role in weed control, and tips on the greenhouse plants.
The goats and alpacas stole our hearts! Meandering among them and observing their gentle, curious personalities was an absolute delight. We loved waking up to their soft bleats and roving among the pasture—an experience both authentic and memorable.
The ranch offers a perfect balance: secluded enough to feel off-grid, yet only about an hour from Denver. Whether lounging under the stars or watching sunsets across the wide-open skies, the peaceful ambiance was exactly what we needed.
We would definitely recommend staying there and we will definitely come back.

I loved my stay at Diane’s ranch. It’s in a quiet rural location with rolling hills and great views for sunset and sunrise. It was fun to hang out with her goats and alpaca and the farm dogs. The property is well maintained and you can tell Diane and her husband put a lot of care into their ranch.
If you want a family friendly stay with a peaceful atmosphere, this is the camp for you!

This is an amazing place to camp. You are surrounded by nature and have a perfect view of the sunset. Camped at Falkor Ranch with a group of 18 Scouts. We had a chance to pet baby goats and admire the alpacas. We also saw a fox coming out of its den. So peaceful and quaint. Extra bonus being the indoor toilet. We also bought fresh eggs from the Ranch for breakfast that were delicious. We could not have had a better stay. Thank you to Tom and Diane.

Tom and Diane are wonderful hosts. They had us park our camper van near the barn, which contained excellent bathroom, shower and dishwashing facilities. They took time to get us oriented and introduce us to their two kitties and some of their goats in the evening, and in the morning we met the rest of the goats and alpacas. I highly recommend this site.
Wow! This was so much fun! We loved being with the alpacas and goats! Snuggling face to face with them was so special! The directions to get there were clear. The bathroom was very nice! The eggs were delicious. The hosts (Diane and Tom) were so friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoyed watching the sunset and the kid goats playing at the same time. This was close enough to the city (an hour away) that I could see us coming back. But yet out in the country and away from it all. Wonderful!
