Welcome to our hidden oasis, nestled behind the vibrant veil of nature! Prepare yourself for a whimsical adventure as we unveil the magical 2-acre campsite that awaits you. At our campground, we offer the perfect balance between thrilling escapades in the nearby state parks and the tranquil allure of the water's edge. Activities: -Hiking -Mountain biking -Boating -Kayaking -Fishing, Claiming, Crabbing And much much more that can be explored at Deception Pass, Oak harbor and Coupville (neighboring town) The world of adventure and serenity, are awaiting you! *Please let us know if you want to rent any gear such as a tent, camping cookware, fishing pole, kayaks, crabbing and mussel mussel retrieval tools. We also can provide firewood, sailing lesson and romantic catered picnics. We look forward hosting you, please reach out if you have any questions!Welcome to your slice of paradise where nature's secrets come alive! We are 15-30 minutes away from the ocean and State parks such as: Deception Pass, Fort Ebey, Dungulle and much more. Coupville our neighboring town is where you can dine on the famous Penn Cove mussels and get lost in the wonders of a small-town. Campground Rules: 🎗️We have a zero-tolerance policy towards discrimination at our campground and we are committed to helping our Host and Airbnb communities be inclusive.  🗑️Please pick up after yourselves. We believe in leave no trace. We ask the you do your the best to keep the area clean, that is all we can ask for. 🐶 Pet Policy: Pets are welcomed but must be kept on a leash at all times. Please clean up after your pet and dispose of waste properly ( no trace left behind). * P.S. We have two dogs ( mini golden and a border collie) on the property, they will not have access to the campground. Please reach out if you have any additional questions. ⏰ Check-In:2PM Check-Out: 1PM *Please adhere to these times to allow for proper cleaning of campsite and preparation for future guests. 🌿Natural Resource Protection: Do not cut/damage trees or vegetation. Please respect the natural environment. Do not disturb the wildlife or their habitats. 🔥Fire Safety: Although camp fires are permitted please use caution! Always maintain visibility of the fire at all times. Before leaving the campsite or going to sleep, ensure that the fire is fully extinguished. *Bundles can be purchased for $5.  *An extinguisher and a jug of water will be available to quickly put out fire if necessary. 🔦Camping Accessories: Please be respectful of our property please. We have provided camping chairs, rubber mallet to install your tent, a lantern/flashlight, and a table to use during your stay. *Additional camping tools such as a mini grill, tent stakes, tent, additional camping chairs can be rented for an additional cost. Please reach out 48 hours before check-in if you would like to rent additional items 🌟GLAMPING! 🌟 options: -$60 Tent 🏕️ can stand up inside with: queen air mattress -$10 campfire : 1st one is set up & ready for you to light up/w/ some Spare wood. -$10 8ft folding table. -$15 Gas BBQ 🍗 grill w /starter -$10 Eight bio degradable plates and, plastic utensils & some basic cooking gear. -$50 ♥️ Romantic Table package: includes Flowers 💐(seasonal) , 2 wine 🍷 glasses & adult S’mores! -$75 per kayak 🚣‍♀️ rental per day (10$ per trip delivery optional) 🚽Toilet Rules: Portable Toilet WAG (Waste Alleviation and Gelling) Bag is to be removed by campers. Please dispose of the entire bag in the garbage bin by the garage. * Toilet paper and hand sanitizer will be provided. *Puncture free toilet bags will be provided. Super chill and private camping spot within a pretty short drive to both Oak Harbor and Deception Pass State Park. Esther was a friendly and helpful host. Would definitely stay again 😁

Super cozy and very private spot behind the host's property. My partner and I really enjoyed our time there! Esther was a responsive host, and provided lots of nice amenities, including firewood for sale, a table, chair, bug spray, and tiki torches. There was a small outdoor bathroom setup that worked well for the few days we spent there.

We loved staying at Ferns 'n' Frolics campsite! What a cool spot tucked away in the trees. We loved listening to all birds, chipmunks and frogs. All the honeysuckle bushes were beautiful and the hummingbirds were very active!!❤️ Although we didn't use the fireplace, it's nice for those who would(accesss to wood, plus safety of a fire extinguisher!!). The wheelbarrow and lit pathway was super helpful and the WAG /privacy pod was easy to use. We had a lovely time at the whidbey island renaissance faire which was only 15 mins away! Perfect location for our adventure weekend. Would highly recommend staying here! Jessi and Andy Seattle, WA

Kindling would’ve been nice with the firewood. We had to leave in the evening to get some from a nearby grocery store. Also, rubber gloves would’ve been useful for the “wag bag” disposal.

The site was well-equipped for our two-night stay. Very private from the home. Hosts were friendly, and responded quickly to questions pre-stay. Site is a little smaller than anticipated, was a little snug for my teen and I with our senior dog. Distance to take items from parking area to site is soft, hilly grass. May be difficult if you have mobility issues. There weren't any snuffers for the torches, so use cautiously. The tree frogs, chipmunks, owls, and other wildlife made for a fun and remote-feeling spot. Would happily stay again.

We liked Esther's camping site! My husband, my doggie and I haven't camp for a while and we have a new furbaby that never been either. This tent site was a nice intro to him and ease us back into it!

This camp site was so nice and peaceful. The spot is private from the house, and comes with may nice amenities. My dog loved it, and I would recommend it to anyone wanting a quiet getaway.

Esther was very friendly and the space was beautiful! She had clearly put in the work - lights, fire pit, tiki torches - to make it a lovely space. We were tucked away in our own little grotto :) it was great that our pup could be free to roam and the other dogs were very friendly

We had a great time at this spot! Super private spot in the woods surrounded by bird song. Conveniently located near Coupeville, Oak Harbor, and Deception pass. Would happily stay there again!

Ferns n' Frolics is a great spot to camp out! The site is lush, beautiful, and totally private - complete with the gentle sounds of frogs, birdsong, and the occasional owl hoot. Esther also has great communication, and it's clear they put thoughtful effort behind making sure guests have a good experience. My husband and I would definitely return - highly recommend!

My husband and I had such a lovely time camping on Esther’s property. It was private and set up so nice with a fire pit, tiki torches, and twinkle lights! We were provided with camping essentials like camping chairs, roasting prongs, lighter fluid, fire extinguisher, and even dog treats for our pup we brought with us! The spot was so quiet at night, except for frogs and crickets, which was really nice. We would highly recommend this spot and would camp here again! Thanks, Esther!

What a lovely spot! We had a really lovely Easter weekend here! It was easy to find and we loved it being hidden behind the house and down a very cute manicured path. We felt perfectly secluded hidden amongst the trees. So much wonderful bird song as well. Really helpful amenities; toilet, firewood, fire pit, a bench, a little table and some other bits and pieces. You park in the main driveway for the house and then walk a short distance to the site. Esther has provided a wheelbarrow by where you park to help take your stuff to the site- this was super helpful! Always felt we could get in touch if needed (we did for firewood). We had our little dog with us too and so it was perfectly lovely for him to be safe. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay! Would for sure recommend!
