The site was great, plenty of space to choose from. The showers are amazing, and the toilets are so nice and clean! Also big thank you to Mick that helped me when I had a flat tire!

A beautiful spot.
I went Thursday-Saturday and had the whole place to myself the first night. So when I come back a mid week trip will be on the books.
There is a public camping spot not far from the property which did get really busy come the weekend I was there and unfortunately someone was playing super loud music from a neighbouring property on the Friday night until really late.
The boat ramp was a quick walk down the track and a good place to swim as well.
Managed to see wallabies and a goanna during my stay!
The cleanest camping toilets ever I didn’t use the shower but I can imagine it would be great as well.
An amazing spot and an amazing host! I’ll be back.

We had an incredible stay at Murray River Bush Camp and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better setup. The wife and I brought the boat and our dogs, it was exactly the kind of escape we were hoping for.
The location is unreal — peaceful, private, and right on the Murray 2 min walk and you are in the water. Being able to launch the boat easily and spend the days on the river, then come back to a quiet camp surrounded by nature, was a massive highlight. Sunsets by the river were something else.
The camp itself is well maintained, spacious, and thoughtfully laid out, giving you plenty of room without feeling crowded. Camp shower and toilets are immaculately clean every day, with honesty donation which we highly recommend paying extra considering how clean Julie and Mick keep it all.
It’s genuinely dog-friendly too, which made the trip even better not having to worry about restrictions or stress — our dogs absolutely loved it.
If you’re looking for soft bush camping experience where you can relax, fish, boat, bring the family (and the dogs), and actually switch off, this place ticks all the boxes. We’ll definitely be back and would recommend it without hesitation.

Murray River Bush Camp
I loved the location and the bush camping environment and the available facilities. The Flushable Toilets, Shower facilities, Proximity to Echuca Town stood out on the list. The host took proactive steps to reduce any fire danger during a Severe Heat Wave by irrigating potentially risky areas of the property. The Space and Privacy available to a camper was quite decent. The property was 3 mins walk to the Murray River but no idea how to reach that. A water cut in the Shower and Utensil Washing Sink around 10.30pm spoilt the access to these facilities for late diners.
The site mimics a bush with flat land for campers who need a quiet rest and isolation from work and other social commitments. There were eucalyptus trees scattered across the site making it shady for campers.
However the ground itself was full of dust thereby causing a dust storm when there were gusts.

The powered camp sites were all very dry and very very dusty. I know the whole area is dry at the moment but other parts of the camp were being watered and well cared for while the powered sites were completely neglected. Overpriced for the poor state of the park and facilities. We vacated early.

Julies place was clean and secluded. Julie has managed to blend the ruggedness of off site camping with the wonfrul creature comforts of a toilet and hot shower seamlessly. If you're visiting in Summer then yes of course it is dry. This is the country we live on. However we were blessed with both a night of stunning stargazing and an intense summer storm.
Very dog friendly.
15min walk to a good swim spot at the boat entry or a 5min drive. No soft spots for sitting so take your chairs. Even in peak season we managed to take the dog for a mostly private swim here most days.
Would 100% recommend or come again.

Julie's set up is so convenient hot showers when you need them and toilets close by.
The Murray river a short walk away for fishing boating and so much native animals and birds.
We'll be back.

We loved staying at Murray river bush camp! Such a relaxing, laid back vibe on a large property so plenty of space to set up. The amenities are great, showers were lovely, warm & spacious. We loved that it was very doggo friendly and that they could rome off leash ( controlled ) Julie and Mick were the perfect hosts, so lovely and helpful, true bush hospitality. Thankyou for sharing your wonderful place with us! Definitely recommend staying

Julie was a great host and keeps the facilities immaculate.
The toilets and showers were spotless, cleaner than 99% than you would see in the city.
The camp is a very short walk to the river and is very easy to access with any car.
The space we had was huge and there were no other campers anywhere near us.
Julie came round and dropped firewood and a fire pit off to us and even brought a small bike for my friends little boy to use.
I will definitely visit again and recommend that you do.

Simple camp site, plenty of space, pet friendly. Has multiple toilets scattered through the site grounds, and a hot water shower for $2. Affordable prices, easy to get to. Would definitely recommend for anyone passing through and needing a spot to crash.

Had a great stay here with a group of friends. Julie was friendly and helpful and relaxed. We were self contained so didnt use the facilities but our friends said the toilets were clean and the showers were great. Our dogs absolutely loved their stay too. The river is very close but is outside the property and access into the water was hampered by other campers over the busy xmas season.

Site was excellent. Loads of room and able to be private. Hot showers and plenty of toilets scattered about. Good signage and instructions. Very impressed. We are in a large RV so road to the property was a bit rutted but overall it was great. Able to get firewood and fire pits if desired. Great to see new trees being planted and watering if grassed areas, dogs welcomed.

Great little spot in the country. We were pleasantly impressed by the toilet and shower facilities and even a good spot for washing dishes.
Lots of spots to camp across the paddock and they have planted more trees for shade.
Very clean and tidy, close to the river.

Loved the space to spread out. Julie and her helpers kept an unobtrusive check on everything. The toilets and showers were great. Access to the river was good. Unfortunate that the general public crowded out access to the water and fishing in several spots on the river.

Julie’s Hipcamp is a fantastic spot—spacious, peaceful, and perfectly located close to the Murray. The walk down to the river is short and easy, making it great for relaxing by the water. The amenities were in pristine condition and very well maintained. An ideal place to stay for a few days or as a comfortable rest stop when passing through. Plenty of space for our camper trailer and especially well suited for campers travelling with dogs. Would happily stay again.

Travel directions were exact. Signage on property easy to follow. Lots of shady spots. Wonderful to have a shower and toilets when you are not in a caravan park. Loved to be able to walk to see the Murray River.

A lovely tranquil camping spot right near the river. Beautiful trees and birds. Great to relax and have a camp fire or go for a walk. The hosts are so friendly and welcoming and the amenities are great. We really appreciated the lovely camp fire and the toilets and hot shower. We will definitely be back and highly recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing and secluded camping experience.
