Harry's Rockleigh Bush Camp
We had a lovely evening at Harry’s. Harry and Anne are very friendly and accommodating and with the added charm of the animals, our family really enjoyed our getaway. We continued on to Mannum Falls the next day for a hike and picnic.

Nice property to camp in, clean kitchen and dinning area, nice bathroom with hot water (from rain water) and clean toilet.
You’d wake up to a beautiful scene with some sheep’s and chickens around as well as birds chirping.

What a beautiful peaceful stay! Weren’t sure what to expect to be honest! Waking up to the horses has been so wonderful! I have never sprung out of bed so quickly in my life!
We had all the seasons, weather wise! Ground was relatively flat, able to manoeuvre the camper around to find the best location.
Harry and Ann were happy to come and have a chat, offered up coffee catch ups at 9am (we were happy to give this a miss) however, beautiful gesture none the less.
We had the whole corner to ourselves, thankfully had gazebo walls, to have somewhere warm to sit at night, can get a bit cool in the evenings!
Toilet and shower facilities are definitely a great addition, boys have a stand up toilet only for #1’s, girls use the sit down toilet. Shower temp capped at 36 degrees (absolutely perfect by the way) If you can bring sawdust with you, that would be helpful for Harry!
I think being given somewhere to take your rubbish would’ve been handy! We were there for 4 days and had 4 bags to dump (no where local).
Will definitely be back to stay here!

Such a great area and super friendly hosts- thankyou! The kids loved to explore, pat and feed the horses, ride their bikes here.
The camp toilet, shower and kitchen are fantastic and well maintained.

Harry’s was a great place for beginner campers and families with your own space but creature comforts like a camping toilet/shower (byo toiletries/paper) and a camp kitchen. Unfortunately it fire season is still currently on so we were unable to have a fire but we still enjoyed our time over Easter especially meeting the horses/sheep/chickens and snowball the cat. Being 20mins from the bridge (which is 9/10 times open every public holiday) and also Mount barker 30mins. We look forward to returning next holidays

Harry's Bush Camp is a great peaceful location, we had our own caravan, didn't use the shower amenities, just the toilet during the day
Rustic camp kitchen, great place to chill in the morning with Harry and other guests
Harry is a great host, very friendly and makes you very welcome
Loved the 2 Clydesdale horses, Henry & George, loved feeding them carrots.
Chicken roam free around the property.
You can rent an on-site caravan, he has 2

Perfect spot for a quick night away from.the city. The host was very welcoming, meeting us at the gate and giving the grand tour of the grounds. He's got a great set up. Just wish we could have stayed longer

The kids loved patting the horses, cat and chickens. Facilities were great (considering it was a bush camp) and access road was no problems for a 2WD. Host was friendly and helpful while still giving us plenty of privacy.

Ive been travelling around Australia and Harry's bush camp has not only been the most affordable and best environment to stay in. Harry is also very approachable as a host and is a homely and relaxed place to stay.

Harry's Rockleigh Bush Camp
I had the most peaceful, refreshing time away — just what we needed to unwind from the busy city of NSW. The campsite itself is beautiful: spacious flat areas nestled among native trees with gorgeous views across the fields and stunning sunrises each morning. The serenity here is unbeatable.
The facilities were excellent for a bush camp — clean bush toilets, a refreshing shower, and a well-equipped camp kitchen with a gas BBQ made cooking easy and fun. I would have loved to of brought firewood and enjoyed cosy evenings by the campfire, under a star-filled sky but unfortunately time of year with the total fire ban. But still relaxing under the stars at night with beautiful breeze.
Harry and the team were warm, welcoming hosts who made us feel right at home. They were happy to share tips about the property and the daily greets of the friendly farm animals.
This spot is perfect for anyone after a relaxed, nature-filled getaway — whether in a tent, campervan, rooftop tent and it’s super pet-friendly too. Can’t wait to return when I’m in SA next.

Wonderful, peaceful camping with all the trimmings including a hot shower for close to no cost.
And add to it a wonderful and passionate host who loves you to interact with his animals, including gorgeous Clydesdale horses...epic!

Neat, quiet campground. Rustic feel with the various sheds. Picturesque view down the valley depending on where you camp.
Harry is a very likeable person who has had amazing travels and interesting current projects.
Well worth the visit.

Harry's Rockleigh Bush Camp
My husband and I had a lovely visit to Harry’s Rockleigh Bush Camp, just a one night stay to try out a new swag tent. Harry is a great host, welcoming guests with information about the property and facilities. Toilets are available, as well as a camp kitchen.
The property is located on a hillside, giving views across the hills, and is a nice quiet place for a recharge away from the city. It was nice to get a visit from the inquisitive hens that live on the property and chat with other campers.
Big thanks to Harry for being an excellent host and helping us with a jump start when we needed it! We look forward to camping here again in the future.

We had an amazing weekend at Harry's Bush Camp! It’s a beautiful farm with lots of sweet animals to pet. Anne was the kindest host, very thoughtful and making sure we were comfortable. Her warmth and positive energy truly brighten the place. The amenities were great, with a toilet, hot shower, and a sheltered kitchen equipped with a barbecue. Highly recommend this lovely spot!

Anne was incredibly kind and welcoming - checking in on us each day, helping us with firewood and answering any questions we had.
We had such a wonderful time walking around the property, visiting the horses and cooking on the campfire.
Well worth a visit, and we will definitely be back!
