This is a great place to stay. We were able to feed the animals as well as have access to swimming and kayaking in the lake which was way above expectations. Would really recommend

We had a fantastic time camping at Horshoe Hideaway. Easy to find, well kept property. We stayed at the creekside spot, and it was amazing. We caught a few flathead in the creek using soft plastics. Nothing beats a fresh lunch from creek to the plate in less than an hour! Excellent for kids! We will definitely be back.

Such a lovely property so close to the sunny coast. Nice and flat firm ground. This made for a very easy setup. Having a fire was a delight. The farm animals were super friendly but never a problem. Owners doing a great job sharing the farm and not being greedy with the price.

Plenty of space overlooking the tidal creek. Our grandson loved the horse ride and petting the horses and feeding the goats . Easy access for any type of vehicle and close to Nambour

We had such an amazing family getaway. We were greeted by horses and goats who made the stay so much fun. We also did a Pony Ride which our daughter absolutely loved. What a beautiful place! I wish we stayed a bit longer. We will definitely be back!

Had the best time at horseshoe hideaway, perfect spot down by the river we had no one around us. river is tidal and lots of fish in it was pretty incredible to see at night. had toilet very close to camp and a great little communal area with a hammock, couch, fire-pit and some games! all around great time!

We had a lovely time staying at Campsite 3 for 2 nights. It was so much fun having all the animal interactions each day (horses, goats & kids, dogs & puppies). I would recommend campers bring a gazebo or something similar for some shade like we did, as it does get quite warm. The hosts were super accomodating to us and responded quick to any questions we had. I would definitely recommend staying here

Host is friendly, the location is good, and enough room to not be right on top of other campers. Access with a 2wd was okay going slowly, a little clearance is needed for the driveway and to drive onto the sites though. Make sure you put the actual address into maps for directions - if you use the map link from Hipcamp it takes you to the wrong place (oops!).

Jenna’s property offers a serene spacious area (and flat/level!) with horses and goats roaming around as promised! Plenty of room between us and the other campsite, and with the most well-maintained and clean portaloos I’ve ever seen within just a few metres. We arrived unfortunately just after sunset, but I can imagine it’s a divine spot to watch the sun go down! Despite arriving after dark, our campsite was quick & easy to find - thanks to the clear instructions and signage. Thank you for letting us share your amazing space, we will definitely be back :)

Gorgeous place. Easy to find, great directions, no liaison if you don’t want it. Cute horse came by to say hello. 2 cute dogs came to visit. Cute hammock on the creek. Single kayak was great (wish it was for 2) Bring insect spray. Thankyou for having us Xx

A beautiful rural spot yet so close to town! Jenna was most welcoming. Grandson (12) writes: The horses were also amazing company but will come near if you got food, they are very polite and friendly. And also the creek is a very nice place to fish (very nice scenery and lots of fish and other wildlife) .the goats are very welcoming and cute and also there is a kayak right next to the river ,its nice to have a cruise around and just gives a break from outside world.

I parked my van on the river bank at Mane Meadow camp 1. I was there to simply chillax for 3 days following surgery. This was easy to achieve at this site while admiring the waterway and the farm animals. The toilets were clean and convenient. There were three other groups camping on the property albeit at a reasonable distance from each other to maintain privacy. Jenna was lovely. Definitely recommend 👌

We had a lovely stay at the creekside camp. The horses grazing contentedly around us, visits from the dogs for a pat were all part of the enjoyment. The hardworking owners have put thought and care into the area making it a great spot for happy campers. Thank you!

Loved this lovely campsite beside the creek. Perfect weekend getway back to nature. The host Jenna is superb, and wonderful with accomodating our needs and quick to respond. If you are worried about the traffic. I can say that if you listen for it you hear it, but it did not bother is at all.

Camping with horses, great for kids

Great place to stay with families. As the description states, you are literally camping in a field with horses so except them at your door step. Our kids loved it and thought it was great, as well as the friendly dogs and goats. Our timing couldnt have been better with baby goats and puppies. Porta-loos provided which were an added bonus and were actually clean! A nice clearing down by the creek to watch the kids have a dip was great in the afternoon. My only suggestion would be some kind of signage as Google maps sent us on a bit of a goose chase.

On the creek with animals

We camped at campsite 2 in our pop top caravan. It has to be leveled out, but not something we worry about and just do it. The place got busy with so many away for the long weekend, but no one was ever in your back pocket. Jenna was great with anything we sent a message about. Being that it was so busy, they provided another toilet for people to use. (Just wish people actually knew how to use them) but ya can't have everything can you hehehe. Horses do roam, they will come right through your site, so if this is something that bothers you, perhaps not for you. The goats were so cute, getting cuddles with them was awesome. (Not just from a childs persepective, adults deffinitely enjoy it too). Only issue we had was people leaving all their rubbish for crows to get at. Unfortunately just made a mess that Jenna had to clean up. Will I be back, Oh I certainly hope so :D

Such a lovely stay we loved waking up to the horses grazing in a beautiful riverside meadow. That said, the portaloo is a bit dingy and cramped, and the hand-pump tap is a bit difficult to use- if that’s a dealbreaker for you! It still did the job. Lovely dogs also. And goats.
