Spend a night in the "Eagle's" group area at Holiday Hill Day Camp. During the summer weeks, these 2 12x16' Adirondack style lean-tos house our teen leadership program. But when they're not in use, they offer a beautiful spot to spend the night outdoors, with a commanding view of our manicured grounds and access to a wealth of outdoor recreation. The site includes both lean-tos, 2 picnic tables and fire ring. There is ample flat space on the ground, or pitch your tent on the deck in a lean-to for shade or shelter from the wind.

Guests are welcome to use our outdoor athletic facilities and playgrounds. Daily swimming pool memberships are available in-season. Just across the street, Mansfield Hollow State Park offers a variety of hiking, biking, running, paddling and picnicking opportunities within a few minutes drive. Also only 5 minutes up the road is the UConn main campus, with arts, entertainment, dining, exploration and the renowned UConn Dairy Bar ice-cream stop.

Since we are a functioning 23-acre summer day camp and event facility, you might expect to share the property with an outdoor gathering, wedding, or group lodging in our Farmhouse rental on the property. If that's the case we'll contact you at the time of your booking and let you know what to expect. The owners live on site, you may see them driving on the road below. We're also in the process of developing 2 other Hipcamp spots on the property, all located to provide a wide buffer of privacy.

I was the first visitor to this new site. It was set up like a YMCA summer camp but a little nicer. Had all the the amenities. Site was very nice. Very clean and level. Host introduced themselves and answered my questions. I would definitely recommend the place and will probably head back before word gets out. Thanks to the hosts!!

This place was the bomb! Jesse the host was more than accommodating. No fault of Jesse but the weather was bad it rained my whole visit therefore I really didn't get to explore the grounds in detail. Very clean restrooms/showers however I again can't say anything more about them as I didn't really use but the bathroom. The lean-to's were AWESOME and DRY! I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Great social-distance camping

Holiday Hill was great- the site was clean, the platforms felt sturdy, and Jesse had provided plenty of firewood and offered to bring by more as needed. The two separate platforms and two picnic tables made for really easy social distancing with friends.

Beyond that, it was great to explore the grounds and play with some of the camp's equipment- paddle tennis and mini golf were some unexpected bonuses. The only downside of the site was some noise from the road, but it quieted down before it got too late.
