We had an amazing time at this site!! The dome is absolutely beautiful and so is the ocean view. We loved seeing horses roaming as we entered the ranch. The dome has a lovely view and little lights you can turn on at night. It can get chilly due to being in the coast but the dome retains heat very well and there are warm blankets. The bed was so comfortable and cozy. We loved our stay and left feeling restored. We would love to come back here again!

It was amazing falling asleep to the roaring of the ocean while sleeping in a space-age like dome, and the bed was extremely comfortable! As noted, it gets very cold in the dome and the space heater does nothing to help that, but thick comforters made it super cozy.

The only thing that kept me from a sound night's sleep is my immense fear of spiders, as there were a few very large (dime sized) spiders that we spotted crawling on the dome walls when we got in and early in the morning. My partner isn't as much of a weenie and slept just fine.

Absolutely loved our stay here. The dome and location are both magical. The stars at night above, field around you, and ocean off in the distance truly make this site special. The drive here from San Francisco was also equally rewarding along the coast. Definitely hoping to make it out here again.

Our stay exceeded expectations. The dome is as picturesque in person as it is in the pictures. The amenities were very comfortable and the location was private and relaxing.

really lovely land & a cozy, unique camping space. don't be deterred by the lengthy instructions you'll receive from Montrese right after you book -- things were much simpler than expected with just a little bit of prior planning. arrive when it's still light out & you'll have no issues.

the dome itself is simple , comes with everything promised, & features a truly special view of the ocean. by far, that's the main attraction! plenty of space between sites on the property -- both other hipcamp rentals adjacent to us were occupied the night we were there, but no big event was happening, so no disruption. the little bathroom hut is clean, stocked, & convenient. overall, a perfect night. falling asleep to rain pattering on the dome was a thing of magic!

one thing to specifically note is that this site is out in the open without any cover or shade -- this just adds to the stellar view, but would also be an important consideration if you plan to cook outdoors & you've got rainy weather; it was sprinkling first then pouring on and off the night we were there, so we ate dinner in Pescadero -- cooking outdoors would have been very challenging if not impossible in that weather without a tent or canopy overhead for rain protection, so check the weather before your visit & come prepared if you'll be cooking!

mid-march rainy day sherbet sunset view from inside the domeit was a story march evening & we didn't know if the sunset would be much of a show due to the clouds -- but we were magically rewarded for our patience!

No Place Like Dome was so lovely. Comfortable bedding and spectacular views! Everything was ready for me when I arrived and there were even sleeping bags available if I chose to sleep out under the stars. I will definitely visit again next time I'm in California. The horses were amazing. I didn't interact with them, but just their presence and watching them roam the property freely was such a cool experience.

Gorgeous view to wake up to

Impeccably clean, picturesque scenery, close access to bathroom, VERY comfortable bed and pillows. My husband and I joked that these outdoor accommodations might be better than some hotels we've stayed in! Loved the fact that we were supporting a horse sanctuary with our stay, and loved the proximity to Pescadero, Santa Cruz, and Half Moon Bay.
