The vibe at Serenity Lake Tent Camp
If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
Serenity lake is an absolutely beautiful and peaceful oasis! We could not believe how well kept and beautiful the grounds were! It was so refreshing to have plenty of space and gorgeous settings. Allen is such a wonderful host who cares deeply about his property. He is helpful and super relaxed. It feels like a good friend invited you to their private lake for some good times. It's also amazing for dogs!!! The property is fenced off so you can let your doggy roam around as long as your not too close to anyone else. We brought rafts and really enjoyed exploring the river and traveling to the adorable island! I will definitely be back here!
We had a great stay at Serenity Lake! Allen was such a gracious host, he went above and beyond to accommodate any requests/needs we threw his way. Our dog is weary of strangers + kids, Allen was able to provide us with a private campsite where we were free of neighbors, he even went out of his way to give us a heads up when a family booked the same weekend as us, and made sure we were on the other side of the lake. We had a great time taking the paddle boat out and swimming with our dog. Aside from 1 other family, we had the place to ourselves. Such a treat. Thank you Allen, we had a wonderful time!
Serenity Lake is amazing and Allen is a fantastic host. All of the sites are right on the lake and there are shade trees at each. And the water was cool and clean, great for floating in an inner tube while ducks and cranes flutter nearby. Be prepared for some desert wind, but not so much that you need to hide in your tent the whole time.
Amazing experience, this is a little oasis in the middle of the desert . Allen is an incredibly dedicated and thoughtful host, everything is clean. The lake is welcoming, and makes all the difference during the hot days. It’s the most wonderful feeling to dive and refresh oneself in the occasional cold current (supposedly in the summer it gets so warm you need to dive to get cooled off). The fire pits provide an opportunity to gather with your friends and family.
This is a magical place, we heard all but laughter this night we stayed. We are definitely coming back. If you visit, please contribute to the magic!
