Rock and Tree, located in Perris, California, We are an open canvas event space.
Our motto is "Rock & Tree is meant to be explored not explained." But I have to explain a little bit, but once you stay with us, go explore! We are an ideal venue/campground for people seeking a quaint outdoor setting for their special day. We have 8 campsites available up to 8 people per site. This sprawling 36-acre venue offers our guests gorgeous wildlife surroundings and is loaded with a plethora of beautiful outdoor shelters for guests to enjoy. During your stay, you are invited to camp in one of our 8 campsites. We have many different campsites to choose from, some more catered to fit campers and RVs, (no hookups) one with a hidden hang out spot, some closer to the venue and others far away. *** Although we are on 36 acres, currently the surrounding neighborhoods have been setting fireworks, we want to make sure our guests are aware and in case their pets might not enjoy the colorful and often times loud display. On most evenings we've noticed the fire-works are done by at 11pm. Also some nights our neighbors play music into the late evening, we've been told ear plugs are helpful :)
The venue was built by my husband Anson and I and we live in an RV on site. Everything in the venue is built using natural, recycled, donated and up-cycled materials. When you camp, we will make sure to give you your privacy and you will have access to the whole venue. We also like hanging out and getting to know the campers so if you want have a drink with us, just shoot us a text. We have fun outdoor games like the giant slingshot, corn hole, and giant jenga. Check out our Instagram page to learn more about us @rockandtreeperris.

Rock & Tree is forever growing and we are constantly working on it. If you reach out to us and want a secluded camping stay, please let us know and we can discuss renting out the venue for you and your guests. If you would like to pitch in and help with any projects just let us know. I was recently told of some fun ideas where campers can build their own campsite, that is totally doable here and we have a lumberyard where you can pull from to build your site.
I have a love for coffee, when you stay here, we provide coffee, tea and morning snacks for all campers! We are an all outdoor venue, so please bring plenty of warm blankets and layers and during the day, plenty of water and sunscreen. We have a communal BBQ on site (donations appreciated to cover propane)
Upon arrival, Please message me when you are about 10 minutes away. I will meet you at the outside gate and teach you how to open and close it so that you can come and go as you please. Check in is between 2pm and 6pm, this gives our campers time to check out and us to clean in between arrivals. We prefer you checking in while it is still light outside. If you need to make any earlier or later arrangements please reach out to coordinate. Please be courteous of your fellow campers.
The gate needs to stay closed at all times because some times the baby cows roam into the venue and we don't want them escaping. My husband and our dogs Sprout and Blue are around. Blue, is very friendly and he may show up and say hello. If he bothers you, just contact me and I'll come get him. I work from home so if you need anything just let me know.
We ask that all amplified music is turned down by 10pm. We will leave the solar lights on over night so it won't be pitch black. Music at your tent is totally fine and if you bring an instrument and feel like jamming, my husband and I both play guitar :)
COVID-19: Please bring masks and wear them if you plan on being in communal areas. Be respectful of your fellow campers. We have sinks, cleaning material and hand sanitizer available. . After Porta Potty use, please wipe down and remember to wash your hands for 20 seconds. We are doing everything on our part to keep the venue clean and safe for all guests. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask.
Suggestions on things to bring:
Cooler with ice and plenty of water to keep hydrated.
Glass bottles so you can recycle and paint them when you are here :)
Stakes to secure tents down (it can get windy around 5pm)
Ear plugs - the surrounding neighborhood have roosters, coyotes in the hills and sometimes neighbors play music and set off fireworks.
Sweater for the evenings.
Solar lights for your tent. / Flash Light
Closed toed shoes to walk around, climb rocks.
Blankets to lay out.
Glowsticks are fun at night.
What to Do near by: The venue is near Lake Perris, Lake Elsinore, Skydive Perris, and Temecula wineries, March Air Force Base/ Museum. Often times it can be very hot, we recommend heading to the Lakes for the day to keep cool :)
Fun idea: We know many of you are stuck at home during quarantine, here is a fun activity you can do before visiting Rock & Tree. If you have rocks at home, either paint them before visiting and we will add it to our Rock Garden, or bring your rocks here and paint them here. We want you to leave your footprint, by leaving your painted rocks you can come back and visit them. We want you to be part of our growth and progress.
We are so excited to share our campground with you! If you have any questions please contact me directly! We look forward to meeting you!

I can’t wait to go back
This is an incredible space where almost everyone can find something to do. There are normal yard games like corn hole but for those who want to challenge themselves they provide a giant slingshot game. They also have a stage for their big events like weddings and open mic nights each month, so when staying there you can have a karaoke night or play charades. They are pretty close to the Paris skydiving center too, so if that’s your excitement look no further. Wondering around the property itself was fun. The dogs were a lot more welcoming than the horses and cows who were just grazing on the edges of the property and didn’t care much about us, but that’s ok. The hosts have placed all sorts of random things around as well as canopies and bridges made out of wood from the property. They already have water and restroom areas for the main camping and event area. Their plan is to eventually have spaces that aren’t strictly tent camping. Possibly platforms for tents or canvas tents to stay in, but they are still in the developing stages of that idea. I can’t wait to come back and see what they form it into. This is definitely a spot you won’t regret staying in. Bring your friends, have a gathering, or keep it small, you can’t go wrong.
Peaceful, enjoyable and fun
Our stay was outstanding, private and a lot of fun. The hosts have an awesome vision for the property. We were greeted by Taryn and Anson as soon as we pulled in. They were so friendly and welcoming. They gave us our space but were up for hanging out too! Very peaceful place where we could be ourselves!
Very unique (epic) camping spot!
Taryn and Anson were great! What a neat experience. Our group had a great night out on the property. It was spacious enough where we felt alone if we wanted, but with hosts like these guys we couldn't help but feel at home.
Loved the venue and the hosts were amazing! We will definitely be back to stay! The lights on the grounds are so awesome and all sites are made out of recycled materials. So welcoming, can't wait to be back!
You should definitely go!
We had a great time! The hosts were super nice and the had an awesome area for our dogs to run around and enjoy being offleash. Sprout is such a fun addition and so cute. You should definitely stay for a comfy night and great company!
Rock & tree "rocks!"
We LOVED our stay in this enchanted little spot! Taryn and Anson were so welcoming and kind-- they even brought out a little whiteboard table and some children's books when they found out we had a toddler with us. They had so many fun nooks and crannies for our two-year old grandbaby to explore. Cows and horses and dogs and hoola hoops and cornhole and hammocks and the sunken gazebo that she thought was her own little "house".... We hit the lottery when we decided to camp at "Rock & Tree".
Rock and tree is an amazing place to stay. We're definitely going to come back. There is lots of fun things to do, beautiful scenery, welcoming, kind, clean, friendly and pet friendly! Taryn and Anson are incredible camp hosts, we felt very comfortable staying at rock and tree.
Loved our stay!
We loved staying at Rock & Tree! Would definitely recommend for anyone! Taryn was so welcoming and sweet. The campground was super family friendly and fun for everyone. Can't wait to visit again soon!!
