ATTENTION: The Sequoia and Kings Canyon National parks are open as of June 4th. Also Lake Kaweah is open and river access is now available too - a car ride away. We are booking for our Corral campsite - NOT THIS CAMPSITE. We are not taking bookings for this bunkhouse campsite to be safer during this unending COVID-19 pandemic. So you can book our other CORRAL CAMPSITE- and will NOT be sharing the bathroom or shower with other campers. We say "meet and greet" because we will social distance while showing you around. This and the Corral campsite is for 4 people of any age, race or persuasion. We are not booking larger groups than 4, even though the bunkhouse campsite is not being booked. Also, our hillside driveway has a sharp, steep turn that stops us from having RV'S or pulled trailers. Even if you can manage the steep hairpin driveway turn, there is no place to turn around once up. Children are welcome, though our place is very rustic and on a hillside, off of a main road. We are by no means "child proof", but are child friendly. The town of Three rivers is a small village where both the longtime and new residents are friendly and welcoming. Our hillside property is located just 2 miles from the entrance to the Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. Our driveway spills directly out onto Sierra drive, the road leading through town and into the parks. You can hear the sounds of the river flowing across the street below.  Unfortunately, we don't have river access; but there are great swimming spots a few minutes drive away. My wife Elizabeth and I bought our home in 2015 after falling in love with our hillside log cabin and its fantastic mountain views! Our dog Ruby was rescued shortly afterward and has been chasing the deer off the property ever since! But that hasn't stopped them from passing through... In addition to deer, we have seen turkeys, raven, hawks, fox, bob cats, coyotes and bear (but not recently) crossing an animal highway along our upper property line, above both of the campsites. We have hummingbird feeders and birdbaths to attract many drinkers and bathers; so there are many winged friends living on and around our place. We are animal friendly and don't charge extra for you to bring your dog(s) to camp. Please LET US KNOW YOU ARE BRINGING DOG(S), when you request to book. Our dog Ruby, a Black Mouth Cur, loves people and animals, large and small, and looks forward to meeting you and yours! This listing is for the Upper Bunkhouse campsite - which has an even better view of Ash mountain, Moro Rock and the snow capped Sierra mountains than our main house does! The Upper bunkhouse campsite is on the same level as the shared bathroom - located on the other side of the bunkhouse than the campsite. The outdoor shower is down on the lower Corral campsite level. We provide a safe, comfortable and quiet camping experience in a rustic natural environment. This outdoor campsite includes the exclusive use of a huge deck with built-in bench and table, a hammock, it's own propane BBQ, BBQ cooking utensils, a picnic table, 1 covered garbage can, and 1 covered recycling can. The site is designed for a maximum of 4 people of any age. You can pitch your tents on the ground or up on the deck!

Beautiful views, clean bathroom, fun experience. Beautiful stargazing. Friendly and helpful host. The site was private and comfortable for 4 people. We even woke up to deer near our campsite! Very close to Sequoia National Park entrance. We would definitely stay here again!

Brewster was a very helpful and receptive host. The site was clean with a beautiful view. In the morning we saw coyotes pass near by. There is also a magical river swim 10 minutes drive away.

Highly recommend staying at this campsite! It can be difficult to find a campsite inside Sequoia and this spot is right at the front door to the park. The site feels remote with beautiful night skies, morning views of mountains, and sounds of the nearby river but has excellent amenities like the bathroom, grills, hammocks, and outdoor shower. The pup roaming around camp is an added bonus. You’re also just up the street from plenty of restaurants, a market, and a coffee shop. It’s a really nice balance for those hoping to camp but also might want to sit down for a burger and beer after a long day hike in the park.

The hosts were also exceptional. Very welcoming, friendly, and we’re quick to help us out when we had a run in with some bees (nature gonna nature).

Def will be coming back!

Brew’s site is a dream! View was incredible and the extra amenities (stove/grill, bathroom) are absolutely worth it. All the decorative details of the property are so cute and curated really well as if out of a magazine. Hosts were so kind and generous and recommended an amazing swim spot nearby that I went to twice during my trip. Site is 1.5 miles from park entrance and is super private compared to what you get at a park campsite. Will absolutely return in the future.

We stayed at the upper bunk house. The site is stunning, surrounded by mountains, it's lovely to wake up to and perfect for stargazing at night.

Our hosts Brewster and Elizabeth were so welcoming, kind, and accommodating. They even checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. There is a general store about 3 mins down the road, super convenient if you are running low on ice or need a quick bite from the deli.

The bathroom and shower on site are shared between the two campsites. We never had an issue using the facilities when needed, they were very clean with plenty of shelves and hooks to place personal items. Not to mention the new shower allows for a perfect view of the mountains with just enough privacy to feel at one with nature and enjoy the experience.

Brewster & Elizabeth gave us a warm greeting upon arrival. Their dog, Ruby, also greeted us. She is very mellow & well behaved. Both sites are well maintained & private. We stayed in the upper site & loved the views from the deck. Deck chairs & a hammock were perfect for relaxing. Great for star watching after dark. We loved the western touches through out the property. Brewster is an excellent craftsman & you can see the attention to detail, especially in the washroom & outdoor shower. Got a great recommendation from Elizabeth for dinner. The location is just 2 miles from the park entrance. A wonderful experience & would highly recommend!

This was the first time I have ever heard of hipcamp. I was very impressed and had a very positive outcome with our first reservations on this camp site. We will definitely be back for this gorgeous place! beautiful views, privacy, clean bathroom and a pretty darn cool shower!!!!! It was very quiet and peaceful and the stars were amazing. close to food and the entrance to the national park. Everything you could ask for!!! You will fall in love with this place and also the host Brewster and the furbaby Ruby who greet you as you arrive. I wanted to take Ruby home with me. Don't pass this one up!!!! Just do not reserve when we want to go. hehe. Hoping next time there is an opening at the time we travel again.

Brewster's Place is amazing! What a wonderful host and a great four-legged greeter, Ruby. Brewster went way beyond expectations to get my sister and I sorted and familiar with the surroundings. He was courteous and made sure we felt secure and comfortable. My sister and I stayed at the upper camp site. We did not want to set up camp right away due to the awe inspiring view from the site. We relaxed on the Adirondak rockers on the wooden porch and could not believe that this place even exists on Hipcamp. Brewster built a real cool bathroom and an outdoor shower. Both are very private, clean, and perfect for outdoor living for a few days in Three Rivers. He has so many sweet details from the decorations to the old well at the camp site. The entrance of the camp is a very short 2 mile drive to Sequoia and Kings Canyon N.P. It took us one hour to get to the Wolverton parking lot to hike the Lakes Trail. My sister and I highly recommend this Hipcamp. Brewster did a fantastic job creating such a wonderful getaway for us city folk. The lower camp on Brewster's property is perfect, as well. We cannot wait to return to Five Fours Camp!

This place is awesome. Most people would probably stay here before heading into Sequoia National Park but after a full day of hikes and adventure, in just about an hour from the sequoia grove we got to stay at Brewster’s upper bunkhouse. The BBQ worked great and the view was beautiful. The outhouse was clean and great. Brewster himself is a very welcoming dude. I would 100% come back. Brewster will get to know me well.

One of the most comfortable hammocks I’ve ever used! The view isn’t back either!
