We had a great stay in our cozy yurt! It was even cuter than we pictured.
We got in after dark and Jake had left the heater on for us which was very welcoming. The yurt was super clean and decorated so beautifully!
Jake was an awesome host-communicative and helpful.
Highly recommend this place!

Cool Yurt, Disappointing Experience

Authentic Mongolian Yurts!
This Authentic Yurt is really Amazing.
Sadly, everything else is disappointing. It's important to know, the spot where the Yurts are is right on a busy road. Cars race on the road late into the night, not the peaceful quiet we had envisioned. The interior is very basic yard sale type decor, a single lamp, making it very dark inside. The porta potty they rent does not even have a pump hand sanitizer inside- during a pandemic!!??
We planned to cook on the 1 grill there, unfortunately it wasn't working, we had to drive into town for our meals. The description says there is a kitchen, this is a misnomer. We attempted to reach out to the hosts, Jacob responded via e-mail and text. We received those messages after we checked out as there is not phone coverage there.
There is great potential at this property, they could, with a bit of effort, make this a great "Glamping" experience, we got the feeling they are just not that into making guests feel comfortable.

Authentic Mongolian Yurts!
This is an ideal destination for two small families who want an easy and novel getaway. The yurts are beautiful and very peaceful to be in. Lots of games and fun for kiddos (and adults).

Authentic Mongolian Yurts!
My husband and I came here for an anniversary getaway and were both very impressed!
There was great attention to detail with the accommodations. The yurt was beautiful. Bed and decor super comfortable. And even things like a beautiful bouquet and a note and outside a bucket with handwritten invitation to pick blackberries.
Jacob, his son and dogs were all super friendly and we felt very welcome.

Our family of four spent a delightful two nights here. The yurts were clean and comfortable, and our kids loved the authentic touches. The indoor basketball court was a huge hit. We enjoyed playing sandbag toss and croquet on the grass. The fire pit was perfect and water supply more than plentiful. Also, the river was just a 15 min walk away. Jacob was a kind host, and we even got to know his son, also friendly and fun. My one suggestion would be to move the picnic table a few feet further from the grill to make socially distance a bit easier since there is a second yurt. But this is a small quibble in an otherwise great experience, and all the other guest were respectful of space. Thanks again!

Jacob’s yurts are AMAZING! Beautiful hand crafted interiors. Pictures don’t do it justice. Perfect location for outdoor activities + hanging with the friends and fam in a picturesque setting.

Our yurt experience was perfect! The space was easy to find and very well kept. The yurt was amazing and a real home away from home. Our host Jacob was very friendly and helpful with things to do nearby during our stay. The indoor basketball court was excellent and a wonderful addition to this true glamping experience. Would 100% recommend staying here.

The yert was clean and beautifully decorated. The bed was very comfortable. It was a great benefit to have electric power to the yert to run a fan when it was warm in the afternoon. The field games and the gym made it great for the grandkids. All in all, it was great “glamping”

We had a lovely time in the yurts. Happily surprised that they have electricity as well as fans and a coffee pot in the blue yurt. The two fire pits for social distancing were great and the grill comes with propane and has a side burner for heating pots/frying pans. Plenty of water in the container for dishes and cooking. Our kids loved the gym and all the lawn games. Porta-potty was clean and close to the site. Bring an easy up for sunny days.
Very nice set up and Jake and his family were so helpful and friendly. We will be back!

Jacob has been an amazing host, being completely flexible and so approachable. The yurt is a one of kind experience, our kids loved it and the open gym was the cherry on the top!
