Enjoy the comforts of home—including flush toilets, showers, and a kitchen.
Welcome to our property. This is a 24 acre farm on a dead end road near Center Hill Lake. The road is perfect for sunset walks and has ample space for pulling a boat in or backing up a camper. The farm features 2 small houses/studio for staying. The owners live full time on the farm with Breanna being an artist and art teacher. Her art studio is on the featured rentals on the farm. Guests can hike the property(depending on the season and field growth) but the road and nearby state parks, rivers and lake are the best for enjoying the outdoors. TN Tech: 16 miles/26 minutes Cookeville Hospital: 16 miles/26 minutes Smithville Walmart: 10 miles/26 minutes Appalachian Center for Craft-10miles Burgess Falls-16 miles Caney Fork river-4 miles Canoe the Caney-2 milesUnique artist studio/guest house on 23 acre farm on a dead end country road.Open concept bedroom/living room with full kitchen and private bath.Queen Murphy bed and full futon.Tranquil country road perfect for walking and biking.Nearby adventures include the Appalachian Center for Craft, Caney Fork River,Center Hill Lake,Edgar Evans State Park,Rock Island,Window Cliff, Cummins and Burgess Falls.Perfect place to rest after a day of kayaking, hiking or workshops. This space functions as a fiber artist's studio which means you'll see organized boxes of colored wool, sewing machines, work tables and other art supplies. Because it is a studio, there are supply shelves open to the living space. The supplies are not for guest use unless arranged. The studio is uniquely decorated with artwork and vintage pieces like the kitchen sink and stained glass window. This is NOT a good space for young children(under age 8) due to the open shelving and the concrete floors. This building is an old mechanic garage converted into a studio/guest space. It's a concrete building so it's not luxury but we try to make it comfortable. There's also a step up into the bathroom which could make it difficult for some people. We have WiFi but no television. There is a fire pit available in the yard and we will will supply a limited amount of firewood. There's an outdoor table for dining on the concrete patio. This is a rural setting and sometimes we can’t control natural occurrences that occur in the country like bugs, creatures, stray dogs and loud rain on the tin roof:) Dogs allowed for added pet fee of $100. Dogs must be leashes while outside. Guest have access to the entire acre the studio is on and are welcome to bike and hike the dead end road which ends with a gorgeous seasonal view of Center Hill Lake. There is plenty of room for guests to park a boat on the property beside the studio. The ground is flat for easy backing in and out.
