Our stunning Hummingbird Native American Teepee, is available for camping. We developed several sites (so far 5, up to six eventually) with lots of sites for regular campers as well. (Listed separately). Each tipi is the Lakota Sioux genuine Native Tipi, with a fire pit inside and 4 mattresses. There is a rug outside and inside to PLEASE remove your shoes before you go inside. You may park right up beside the tipi. It's a once in a lifetime experience! Experience staying in a tipi, reserve a guided horse ride with us(separate reservation and cost), and see what the West is REALLY like from the Native perspective. (We are both Native). Most campgrounds have campers right on top of each other. Ours gives you room to hike, see the wildlife, trees and room for privacy just down from Crater Lake. In this 450 acre horse ranch, 5 acres is for campsites and tipis. We have wildflowers, you have space to 'be' here, and that's how we plan on keeping it. We just have a dirt road, and no electricity, all is solar in our desire to keep compatible with the national forest that we are beside. The norm here is to hear the buzz and whir of hummingbirds, dragon flies and birds of all kinds. You can see the stars at night, and hear cows & sheep off in the distance, and since we are beside Crater Lake Highway, we are an easy distance to Crater Lake, so you will hear some traffic now and then. But the road is somewhat hidden by many very tall pine and cedar and juniper trees. You are across the street from Pelican Butte, a beautiful mountain range, and also see Agency Lake off in the distance. We now have a propane shower for our campers with extended hours as we have added electricity to the shower only. Check out a towel with us at the office and shower for free with your campgrounds fee, and porta potties and wash stations are also available.

Bob and Kori are the sweetest hosts. The Native American Hummingbird Teepee was such a delight to camp at. The surrounding land was full of trees, moss and wildflowers. There was a picnic table next to the teepee so we could enjoy our meals outside with a fire pit to keep warm and cook food over. There is abundant firewood on the property to collect. The teepee was so cozy inside with a fire pit inside for warmth. The sleeping mats were comfortable and they also had extra blankets. It was so wonderful to sit around the fire inside the with my family cuddled up being thankful we were spending the night in an authentic teepee. The paintings on the teepee were so beautiful. The port potty was very clean and didn't smell one bit. There was wonderful privacy and it was such a serene place to stay! Can't wait to go back!

My kids (9 and 11yo) and I had such a fun time in this sweet, cozy tipi! Super accessible location near Crater Lake and wonderful, accommodating hosts made for a stay we will remember forever. A small fire in the fire ring inside the tipi kept the mosquitos away and gave us the perfect marshmallow roasting spot and flickering light for ghost stories. We brought a basic camping stove and refillable water jug and were happy to have them. Kori and Bob couldn't be nicer - if you have time you should definitely go on a trail ride with them!

We are so grateful we found the tipi to stay in during our road trip from California to Oregon. It’s so close to crater lake and on an awesome horse ranch. Sleeping in a tipi was also a one of a kind experience. It was the real deal. I highly recommend staying here over a hotel, motel, or even traditional camping site if you wanna go for a neat experience.

The site was just as described - an exciting small campsite with 3 teepees, located under an hour from Crater Lake. Bob and Kori are great hosts. Teepees are well equipped with foldable matresses and sleeping bags. They have an internal canvas for better protection. The fire pit inside is very useful for the chilly nights, however, expect to smell like smoke in the morning :-)

Bob & Kori provides one of the best experiences I’ve ever had through Hipcamp/ Booking.com. During our stay here everything was comfortable and completely quiet, far away from any stress. All the amenities are sparkling and rustic, and the horseriding aspect was a huge plus. It was the highlight of our trip by far. To top it off, Bob & Kori are the most interesting and gracious people to talk with. Thank you so much Bob & Kori!

We loved our stay at Heartline Ranch. The tipis were comfortable and inviting and close to Crater Lake National Park. Bob and Kori were extremely helpful from day one, even before we met them. We had some questions and requests ahead of time and they gave recommendations and offered to let us use their facilities which helped us save time to enjoy the grounds and Crater Lake. Thank you so much Bob and Kori, thanks for your warmth and kindness. We would highly recommend staying here.
