Cedar Bloom is such a gem. Beautiful land, open camping amidst forest and meadow. It seems that those caring for this place have put in a lot of love, sweat, and consideration, for human guests, and for the more-than-human beings who dwell there. The sauna and tea house are lovely. My very favorite part was the luxurious shower overlooking the river. We also made use of the well-appointed professional kitchen during our stay. A note for campers: be aware of the poison oak and show proper respect. This place is well worth the price, and we hope to come back so many times.

Great swimming, so much separation of space, lovely toilets, the kitchen was a great perk and the walking fridge?? Amazing! So nice not having to go to town and get bags of ice to keep the cooler at a safe temp.

Cedar Bloom is my absolute favorite place to camp in all of Oregon. I’ve been visiting for three years now but this was the first time in one of the a-frames. I loved being able to open the wall during the day and enjoyed having a big deck to relax on. I’ve stayed in the gnome dome all of my other visits but I think I like the a-frame more. The only downside, visiting during a heatwave, was that the a-frame does not get near as much shade or wind as the dome does. I think it has to do with the dome being closer to the river. But other than that I loved my time there and will be visiting again in the future!

What a magical spot! You feel like you are camping in a well maintained park, with added perks of a flower garden and an amazing river front spot to swim and relax. I will definitely be back 🏕️

Peaceful, spacious, beautiful land with excellent amenities and fabulous swimming. The sauna is wonderful and the outdoor showers with view of the river is stunning. Community kitchen is big, well-equipped and very clean. Tea house is adorable. Plenty of camping on level ground under the shade of the tall trees. Thank you Cedar Bloom💚

Star A-Frame Cabin, Cedar Bloom
The property is big, peaceful and quiet. The river access is amazing, my daughter and her friend swam. The river is so clear and refreshing. The sauna was to die for and the tea room was set up so nicely. We loved it!

Mixed feeling about this place. Beautiful property, decent amenities, relaxed staff. However, no trash service on the property, confusing rules for guests, inconvenience restrooms and expensive for what you get. Really the restroom situation and "pack in and out" is just absurd. Our group booked three pre built units and two camp sites. We spent well over $1500 for the weekend and we had to pack out our own trash? Just ridiculous. Staff is almost non-existent, but nice. However, we received mixed messages about rules around the property and were scolded for something that another staff member had told us. The restrooms were really inconvenient and grosser than a normal pit toilet. For the size of the property and number of potential guests, they need more than 4 restrooms (4 were closed for some reason). That being said, the property was gorgeous, river area was so nice, cool to have a outdoor showers. Very nice to have a walk in cooler to store food for the weekend and have access to a kitchen. But again, NO TRASH SERVICE. Please, just put a dumpster at the top of the property.

Loved our stay at Cedar Bloom! Open land with plenty of space around so no immediate neighbors! Friendly folks camping across the meadow. Showers were nice and clean with soap & hot water. Dipping in the river was the best part! Great river access for our pups as well.

We had a family reunion and there was plenty of room for all of us to be together. When I realized I had forgotten 1 tent for the last arriving family the camp was able to provide 1 at a very nominal fee. Also, the community kitchen was a very nice addition as well. We will be back.

It was a great way to share a space! 100 acres with great river frontage and an amazing swimming hole. Great showers overlooking the Illinois River and wonderful great smelling soap!

The host, Samantha, was extremely helpful when we arrived and were able to choose our parking spot - nice and easy!
We only stayed for one night but would highly recommend the site to others, especially if you like a swim in the river - wonderful!

River Overlook Dome, Cedar Bloom
Consistently has been an amazing time. Serene with a beautiful river flowing through can’t ask for much else. The dome was incredible, spacious and kept cool in the summer heat.

I loved camping at Cedar Bloom. All of the staff I met there were really great. Open camping means that one is quite a distance from the toilets, there is no water close, there are no fire rings, and no open fires (but I was there during fire season in Oregon anyway) and there aren't any hookups. It's a bit like boondocking except it has the necessary facilities. There are great shared facilities including sauna, 2 shower houses, a tea house, and a shared commercial kitchen. I was there for a wedding and, because it's open camping, we were able to set up an old fashioned "Rendezvous" with 4 families camped together.

cedar bloom farm is a dream realized and the opportunity to exist on the land with great friends and kind strangers was a transformative time we won’t soon forget. the river, trees, open space, sauna, showers, tea house, toilets, outdoor sinks and communal kitchen only scratch the surface of the magical peace felt among these woods. endless gratitude for the safe space, the inspiration, the dwelling, the deep care and nurturing.

Awesome place! It was just me and the dog but I will be coming back with my kids. They have everything you need and everything is clean and orderly. I stayed in the Gnome Dome and loved it.

I had the best time. I stayed for two nights. I cooked my meals in the camp kitchen and drank my herbal tea from the mug I got in the camp store. Super easy to find and check in when I arrived. Loved the beautiful land so much. The river was delightful. Easy to access swimming hole and a dock to jump off made it so fun. I hiked around a bit and got to engage with other rad visitors (this place attracts amazing people). The best thing tho? The river facing outdoor shower situation. That was gorgeous and made me so happy. Am planning to return before the end of summer for more time on this magical land. Highly recommend

The trailer was conveniently located on the property. Close to all the amenities (bathrooms, showers, sauna, tea house, generously sized shared kitchen, drinking water fill station but not too close. And river access! The bed and bedding were perfectly comfortable. It was nice having power to charge phones and boil water. Didn’t use the gas stove. If I had there were plenty of basic kitchen wear’s to do so. Would have liked if the mini fridge worked but the walk in shared refrigerator did the trick. Room for improvement…the area around the trailer and under the shelter over the table (very handy) was loose powdery dirt (Stayed in mid/late July). Some sort of ground covering, at least around the table and trailer entry would go along ways towards eliminating tracked in dirt and dust. Would stay in it again. Definitely going back to the property in some format.

Our experience at Cedar Bloom was exceptional. The campground, curated by Mea, is secluded and enveloped by majestic trees, creating a tranquil atmosphere. We particularly enjoyed the serene lake, where we spent hours floating, as well as the unique experience of outdoor showers and the relaxation offered by the tea house.
We wholeheartedly recommend this campground. Our grandsons are already making plans for a return visit next year. We extend our gratitude to Mea for hosting us.

We absolutely love Cedar Bloom! It feels like our special Glamping getaway. Everything is quite spread out for privacy, and plenty of shade in the trees to car camp. If it’s your first time, be sure to book one of the Domes! The tea house, sauna, outdoor showers & Mermaid Rock swimming hole make this the perfect luxury camping experience. ✨
