We welcome you to our beautiful 122-acre regenerative sanctuary.  We are striving to create a space where humans and nature can interact and heal together.  We are striving to maintain the ecological integrity of this land while also demonstrating unique agricultural methods and hosting a variety of wellness practitioners and programs.  Please only plan to visit our land if you are able to respect the space and leave no trace.

When camping on the land, you may choose from a variety of sites in which to camp -- in a field with native bobolinks nesting nearby, in the forest near a bubbling stream, under a sycamore tree grove, or on the "rose field".  Each site has varying levels of privacy, but you are also welcome to set up a "primitive campsite" anywhere on the land.

This listing is for the sycamore grove.  This is a fairly secluded, slightly wooded spot that is not far from our main parking lot.  There is a currently unoccupied building nearby that helps to create a feeling of separation from the rest of the land.

All campers have access to a port-a-potty.  You will be given access to a movable fire ring.

Our farm is 2 miles outside of Chardon, OH and therefore there is easy access to amenities, restaurants, and a number of outdoor activities, including hiking on site as well as cycling and cross country skiing nearby.

WARNING: Under Ohio law, there is no liability for an injury to or death of a participant in an agritourism activity conducted at this agritourism location if that injury or death results from the inherent risks of that agritourism activity. Inherent risks of agritourism activities include, but are not limited to, the risk of injury inherent to land, equipment, and animals as well as the potential for you as a participant to act in a negligent manner that may contribute to your injury or death. You are assuming the risk of participating in this agritourism activity.

What a gem of a place! Idyllic and peaceful. Full of herbal gardens, meadows, trails, forest, pond and wildlife, especially birds. We camped near an old farmhouse under the trees. Big dairy barn is a wonderful place to explore and take a break from the sun. Highly recommend for a getaway or group event; will. definitely be returning!

Camping at Resilient Acres was a great experience! The site was clean and kept up, and the restroom was much nicer than one would expect while camping. Directions made getting here super easy. The camp hosts took social distancing seriously. Parking is close and easy. Would recommend!

What a beautiful idea! This property and history are wonderful. We arrived later in the day and really didn’t know what to expect. I wish we would have felt more comfortable to explore the property to find a really cool place to set up camp. We chose the Sycamore site on HipCamp. It was great for our first time and we arrived late so one of the 2 sycamore spots was taken. Michael offered us the upgrade to the rose site. It was not private but it was fine for our one night camp. The best part was exploring the trails the next day. We LOVED the property and the forest camping site in the woods. Our advice is to arrive at check in and take the trails to get familiar with the property and then decide where to set up camp unless you purchase the specific site. Michael is flexible and the property is vast with so many different types of scenery. We will be back for sure! Thank you Michael. 🏕🌸🌱🌿🍄🌻

We had a great time staying at the Sycamore site at Resilient Acres! The site felt private and quiet, yet not too far from the parking area and the porta-potty. The large trees provided ample shade throughout the day. There was plenty of wood nearby and Michael even stopped by to drop some more off. We hope to visit again in the fall.
