Glamping Cabin - Our Tree House is a small primitive camping cabin perched upon tree poles in the woods. This rustic retreat was built entirely with reclaimed lumber from an Ashe County homestead that was over 100 year old! It has a small deck with seating and overlooks a babbling brook. Think of this cabin as "glamping". While this is a primitive cabin - it does have a plus

This rustic retreat was built entirely with reclaimed lumber from an Ashe County homestead that was over 100 year old! It has a small deck with seating and overlooks a babbling brook. Think of this cabin as "glamping". While this is a primitive cabin - it does have a plush Queen size bed, a rollaway twin bed, cozy loveseat and end tables. The Tree House comes complete with sheets, pillows, blankets & quilts as well as towels.
Open the windows and enjoy the sounds of a night in the woods with cool mountain air. You will love sleeping in this rustic cabin with a tin roof. This is a primitive camping cabin, it does NOT have electricity or water. We have a battery operated lantern for your use in the cabin. It has windows and screens and a screen door with a traditional door. For the winter months, we add a propane space heater for your comfort.
You will have access to a full bathroom in our Lodge building which is open for your use at all times. There is also a coffee station in the Lodge for your use.
There is a chiminea fire place and Adirondack chairs set at the base of the stairs for you to enjoy a fire outdoors. We provide dry firewood for your use. To access the Tree House, you have to walk up a path in the woods, and then up a flight of stairs. Parking is a short distance away, but you must be able to walk up a slight hill and then up a flight of stairs.

Relaxing in the rainstorms
It was so cool to have this neat treehouse keeping us DRY as it rained the entire time we visited. (Sadly, It WAS only one night) it was awesome listening to the sound of the rain beating against the metal roof of the treehouse. We even had our two small dogs with us and they seemed to enjoy it as well. Plus they had a nice common/shared area where there was a clean restroom and shower. Plus loads of homemade soaps, lotions and a general store with general stuff. Lol. The healing spring was lovely and the water pure. We will love to come back for a visit.
Quiet tree house
Very relaxing little treehouse. It was on the edge of the resort but still close to the main action. Everyone was quiet and respectful. We would definitely come back.
