This was a beautiful campsite! Very clean and nestled in some lovely fall colors.

We had a great time here! Ryan is super welcoming, and the campsite felt very private. It was probably the nicest campsite we've stayed at yet - a good amount of space, and very clean/flat ground to pitch our tent. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Great Rumney Rocks private camp!
The Moral Compass camp is a great alternative to the nearby large field camp by the Rumney Rocks climbing area. A much more private set up with a friendly gentleman running it within close walking distance to the rocks. The campervan spot is by the road but there is almost no traffic after dark. The tent camping area is a short walk into the woods and is set up well for comfortable camping with a soft cleared ground. The firepit/cooking area is good for nightly cooking and there seems to be plenty of kindling and firewood about the property. Ryan, our host, suggested we gather some ourselves, saves a few $ from having to buy any. At least at the campervan spot by the house there's good wifi (didn't try it from tent area). Bring bug spray, you're in the woods after all. It sounds like Moral Compass is planning on expanding their 2 current private camping areas. I'd stay here again the next time I pass through this area of the White Mountains.

Ryan was friendly and accommodating, greeting us just as we pulled in front of his place. He gathered firewood for us and brought it to where we camped. Itâs also right be Rumney for climbing and bathroom when needed. Thanks Ryan!

Even better the 2nd time
This is the second time we camped here and the site is even better than last time. It has a large site squirreled away in the woods but also close to everything. It had a great cooking pit and a port-a-potty. All we heard was coyotes , a dog and crickets it's nice if you prefer woods to campgrounds.

Super awesome secluded campsite!
This was a cozy, secluded camping area in the back of the property. Super quiet and very private. Walking distance to rock climbing. As with all of the hipcamps I've been to, bring bug spray. Fire ring provided, but you must bring everything else with you. I suggest bringing your own lugable loo with one of those small pop up tents for privacy/bathroom needs. We had some random dog poking around in the morning, but that occurs with every hipcamp I go to. Totally recommended!
