They have thought of everything, so you can just roll up, and relax. The mattress is memory foam, the shower is definitely worth it, trust me, and the outdoor kitchen is great.
Rob helped me fix my cargo carrier, when I arrived, which was above and beyond.
The only drawback is that there is a covered wagon pretty close, so it doesn't feel as private as some might like.
I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for something special.

Loved sleeping in the Tipi- it was so cosy and warm. The bed was super comfortable and the tipi is bigger than you might expect. Lovely little kitchen & open shower too.

We loved staying at Sandy Valley Ranch in the tipi. It was a unique stay with all the amenities one would need to be comfortable. The tipi was perfect for 2 adults and we slept well. The outdoor kitchen and campfire cooking tools were more than enough for a glamper to make a meal. The facilities were close and clean. The valley is the real star of the show with incredible sunrises, sunsets and night skies. Thank you for sharing your ranch with us.

It was a great place to see the sunset and sunrise! I loved having the animals and took the best trail ride right from the ranch. The hummingbird had all the basics I needed. The signs to the camp were great, as I came in after dark and had no problem finding it.

A lovely stay in a beautiful and cozy setup. We were worried we might be chilly as temps weren’t too high, but the site was well equipped with heated blankets, extra blankets, and a space heater. The hosts also responded very promptly when the propane tank for the space heater had run empty. We also loved the outdoor shower and kitchen. Overall a great spot to stay, and a great experience spending time on the ranch and in the nearby town!

The tee pee was really cool, our kids (5 and 9 yo) loved the adventure! We enjoyed the fire pit and the stars at night. Very peaceful, remote and a fun experience for us all. We did bring an air mattress for the kids and extra bedding as well.

Hummingbird tiny house
Such a cute cozy little spot we felt very welcomed and every question we had was answered very promptly. Everyone on site was super friendly and just a great much-needed little getaway just outside of town.

This camping site was charming from the photos but exceeded my expectations once we got there. The Ravens Nest Tipi towards the back of the ranch was so awesome 👌🏼 There were outlets, lights, pots and pans, grilling equipment for the bonfire, and even skewers for smores! I can definitely see that Sandy Valley Ranch cares about your experience. They even had things that people would probably forget like bug spray available for you to use. Even for a seemingly middle of nowhere camping site in the middle of the desert, they really make it so easy for guests. I hope to bring my mom here to experience it too! 10/10 would recommend

I dont even know where to start on expressing my gratitude about this place. The tepee is wonderful, its so gorgeous and so well maintained, you can clearly see how they truly care about your experience, the ranch animals are amazing and the ranch dogs will come around to give you cuddles which its a huge plus. But foremost I would like to highlight my personal experience with Sandi the manager of the ranch, I left something super important at the ranch and she went above and beyond to make sure it would get to me in time, I cant express enough my gratitude on that and how this is clearly more than a business, its a place with such good caring people and amazing glamping sites at the same time. Thank you so much for an amazing night out under the starts and also for helping me on a personal level. I would absolutely come back! You should DEFINITELY stay in this place❤️

Hummingbird tiny house

Loved this area! Right in the back corner of the ranch which is perfect if you want to be as far away from everyone as possible. The shower was nice and hot, the extra firewood is right there, and Sandi and her husband were always available on call! The teepee bed is firm with a heated blanket which makes it nice and toasty.

We really enjoyed our time at the ranch with and overnight in the Eagle Feather tipi. Beautiful outside and inside the tipi. Comfortable even in low temperatures. Nice deck and kitchen setup with a campfire under the stars. Wish we could have stayed another night!

Great place for a quick trip out of Las Vegas. Camp site had everything you need from stove, refrigerator, to swamp cooler. I love the fact that our dogs could be off leash and explore.

We absolutely loved staying at the Hummingbird tiny house! It was cozy, clean and serene. We had the pleasure of meeting the owners of the ranch and they were so friendly and kind! We loved stargazing by the fire, having coffee in the morning with a beautiful view, and meeting the horses and chickens on the property. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

Ravens 🐦⬛ tipi was a fun experience. 1-2 night stay would is perfect.
Sandi handles the reservations and Leonora handles horse rids.. Both women were so kind and very helpful.
Glad we bought groceries in Las Vegas because more convenient for our two night stay. Has small college dorm size refrigerator. Grocery store not close, only $1 store and a small general store.
Loved 90 minute horse ride with “BONES” & Santiago. In hot weather prepare for a lovely 6 am ride due to extreme heat in afternoon.
Stayed 6/2 & 6/3 so very hot days and cool night. If windy there is lots of flapping noise in the tipi so if you only like peace and quiet you may opt to stay a tiny house or perhaps the covered wagon.
Loved the OPEN outdoor kitchen but re washed everything we used because of course desert dust and mouse droppings. Still fun to live outdoors in a rustic setting in covered open kitchen.
Definitely need a car to explore hiking.
Desert is very windy and dusty. Tipi is open a bit at the bottom and there is an opening at the top for air flow. Hot however during sunny day.
Stars at night are AMAZING!

The host's directions made it easy locate the cabin after dark. We also easily accessed the ice machine in the ranch house & were pleased to find available bundled firewood for purchase near the entrance. There was enough hot water to cover two quick showers & the bed was very cozy. Our stay was comfortable & undisturbed. Thanks for hosting!

Tiny House / Peacock near Las Vegas
The Peacock House was cozy and comfortable. Our family our four loved the space. We ate dinner on the deck and enjoyed the sunset.
