Just Be Cabin is the perfect remote woods getaway you are looking for. Immaculately clean and situated privately in the woods, we had a great time strolling through the forest and the beautiful gardens. Stacey and Brian were fantastic hosts, helpful and kind. The bathroom is super cool (earth toilet) and the open cabin had the perfect rustic feel with big windows and a wood stove. The directions to get here were great and Stacey was super easy to get in touch with. Definitely would stay here again!

Great stay at the Just Be Cabin! A wonderful retreat, especially in the winter. Stacy had the wood stove burning and the cabin warm for us upon our arrival, lots of firewood available, a remote feeling in the woods but easy to access from the road. Can bring food to cook on the hot plate or wood stove or go to a co-op in town called The Creamery. The location is near a number of state parks for larger exploration. Hosts were accommodating and wonderful. We would recommend this to anyone!

Such a peaceful and welcoming place. Cabin is cozy and clean, with lots of windows and a comfortable futon. Stacey and her family are wonderful and friendly hosts, and the gardens and backyard are lush and verdant. We loved staying here!
The Just Be cabin is pretty much perfect. I almost don't want to say how wonderful it is because I don't want it too become too popular, and I want to keep coming back! It's true retreat space. The land here is so well cared for, and it's obvious that both the land and this little cabin have a history of kind and gentle humans coming to sit, to pay attention, to relax, and come back to a sense of simplicity and ground. There's a little Jutul stove for chilly nights, a desk for writing, a simple double size futon bed, and windows on all sides. Gorgeous spot.
Perfect for a minimalist escape from the city. Gracious hosts and good books to read!
Three of us spent just the loveliest little overnight get-away here, and we will definitely return! The whole property is like a magical fairyland: you walk past Stacey and her family's gorgeous gardens (at night your way is lit by fairy lantern), and then you come to the perfect tiny cabin among the trees. The cabin is simple and pretty and perfect, decorated by the windows that look into the dappled sunshine of the woods. Plus the antique "earth closet" toilet is absolutely ingenious and amazing, besides being clean and really fun to use. We really just loved everything!
A magical cabin in the woods. Perfect for a retreat (writing, meditation, whatever you need). We went in early December, the weather was cold but not bitter. Stacey started the wood stove before we arrived and we fed during the night to keep us warm.
Staying in the Just Be Cabin was absolutely wonderful. It was so cozy and perfect for a winter weekend. The light in the bedroom area is quite beautiful as there are so many windows looking out into the forest. Stacey was an excellent (and friendly!) host and met me when I arrived to show me to the cabin and give a quick tour.

Just Be cabin was just what my partner and I needed for an evening of relaxation and a break from the city. Stacey was a very hospitable host! She met us at the driveway to show us the way to the cabin since it was getting dark. The cabin itself is beautiful and also cozy. It feels very secluded even though it’s technically in Stacey’s backyard. Absolutely loved the antique earth closet. Simple yet effective! Would highly recommend.
