Perfection perfection perfection. Lily’s property is jaw-dropping, the a-frame couldn’t be in a more ideal location, and the host herself is friendly, inviting, extremely responsive and more than helpful. Everything in the description is spot on (it’s literally the most helpful and entertaining hipcamp guide I’ve ever read) so just check that out and you’ll know everything you need to know. No surprises, except probably that it’s even better than you are imagining. It’s a private site but close to everything you could need, like wood, water, beer, groceries. There’s inexpensive, fresh and tasty seafood down the road. Oh, and one more thing - you can walk the quiet, idyllic trails on the property and use markers with QR codes set up along the way to learn about the coastal Maine habitat, including plant life + more. Beautiful and educational. Thank you Lily for extending this property to others, it’s a real gift to be able to stay here!

Absolutely incredible getaway spot. We literally camped on the ocean with views of the Acadia National park mountains in the distance. The A-frame is charming and the platform with chairs is perfect to watch the sun set (or rise) while drinking a cold beverage. We walked the beach (had it all to ourselves) and even dug up a few clams for dinner. Another perk is you that can park a 1-minute walk from the site but still feel secluded. Despite the heat wave (95+ degrees) over the weekend it stayed a cool 75 and at night was the perfect temp for a light sweatshirt. The host was very helpful and responsive. She provided great tips about the local area. Would definitely recommend staying here!
Just breathtaking. Amazing view of the water, the stars, the sunset, and the park in the distance. A-frame is just a shelter, but charming and did a good job of keeping bugs away. The real treat though was the fire on the beach down out of the woods. Great place to stay.

Thank you for visiting, enjoying and appreciating.
This is a lovely, private site. The A-frame is right on the water with an incredible view of the cove. We made a small fire on the beach. Local hikers from the preserve were friendly., as they passed by on the beach — only a handful. We did stay during a heat wave and the A-frame was a bit stuffy. Fortunately we had a couple of mosquito curtains which we hung over the wooden door so fresh air could get into the cabin. Lily was a very responsive host and accommodated all of our needs and offered more than we would have expected.

Thank you Eric for coming! I'm really glad to hear you enjoyed your stay despite that wicked evil demonic fluke of a heatwave. Loved seeing you guys paddle by the house at sunset, wishing I had taken a photo for you of that moment.
This was the most blissful little getaway!! The cabin is right up next to the water, especially at high tide when the water is just feet from the Aframe.
To the left there is a view of Cadillac mountain and MDI, and the west facing beach boasts some unbeatable sunsets.
There is a small deck, as well as plenty of trees to set up hammocks and tents, so you can sleep however you please or switch it up each night.
Located just 30-45 minutes from Acadia, but well away from the crowds, you can take a drive to MDI, visit the Schoodic Peninsula, or just stay in the area walking, swimming, or kayaking.
The host lily is absolutely lovely, and made sure we were well oriented and comfortable.
Lily has created a welcoming oasis - hospitable, generous and fun - Lily is indeed a super host!
The seclusion and stellar views of the A-frame site work their magic in minutes. Add a dreamy kayak and campfire and refresh is complete.
We will be back!
Truly incredible experience. A-frame is rustic and so much fun. The beach and the view is unbelievable - we saw a whale and a seal in the bay, foraged for mussels, and cooked some great meals under the stars. Lily was super friendly, kind, and helpful. Would love to come back someday.
I can't wait to go back to Lily's A Frame!! It was PERFECT!!! The cabin is cozy, clean and comfy. The firepit on the beach feels like something from a dream. Definitely take Lily up on her offer for a Lobster dinner - deeeelicious! And use the kayaks! What a magical place. We can't wait to return! xo

Lily is the coolest and kindest host ever!!! The A-frame was probably one of the most magical places I have ever and will ever step foot let alone get to stay a few days in! You really are right on the ocean and have access to so many beautiful natural places (i.e a nature preserve with trails through mossy woods & beautiful beach walks), it made it hard to leave everyday and especially on our last. Would definitely recommend carving a few days of your trip just to hanging at the A-Frame and exploring the land around it. It is right near the Winter Harbor part of Acadia and it actually turned out to be our favorite/preferred part of the national park due to small crowds and secluded gorgeous cliffs. We also had the amazing lobster dinner prepared by Lily and it was our favorite meal of the entire trip! We ate it on the beach during one of the many gorgeous sunsets you'll see from your spot. Overall, we loved this beautiful little safe haven and we are so grateful for Lily and getting to meet and spend time talking to her! Thanks again Lily (philly forever!)!

Thank you Casey for coming and it was so great meeting and chatting with you and getting to serve you a meal!
