Pitch your tent in the grass above the river or camp on the bank of the river where the natural vegetation prevails. We are working on turning our 3 acres into an Eden farm currently, for those that know what that is. For those that don't, it means we are working on becoming a regenerative type farm with plants and trees. We do have an outdoor bar (not a bar that serves alcohol to the public), that we use in the front yard for music and fun times. Most weekends we are out there singing and playing. If you are looking for a quiet time, weekdays would be better than weekends. You are always welcome to join us in the bar if we are there. We often fire up the grill and firepits and it's BYOB to the party. If you play an instrument, bring it along...especially if you play old country or bluegrass.
We will give you as much privacy as you like or you are welcome to join us for our family fun!
We have room for tents, vehicle camping and small RV's (at some times, you may not be able to park RV's at the river...they will have to park in the grass areas). No hookups or electricity. Note: we have 3 dogs of our own. This is their home, so they are free-ranging it here. We also have anywhere between 40-100chickens at any given time. They are contained, but there are roosters that crow. Wildlife abounds here, so depending on the time of year, ducks and geese are here and they also make noise.
