Enjoy complete serenity and privacy on 55 secluded acres with Blue Ridge Mountain and pastoral views only minutes to town. Sugarday Farm is a private horse farm set 3/4 of a mile off the main road with rolling pastoral land and Blue Ridge Mountain views. Site 1 is in a small field down by the swimming pond, with access to a large covered gazebo with gas grill and generator available. Site 2 is at the base of the pond near the beach and driveway. Sites 3 and 4 are at the top of the hill, you can choose to be in the woods or fields, the views are spectacular. These latter two sites are better if you are driving an RV as there is more turnaround space. All sites have shared access to a full bathroom including shower and toilet, available at the main house, a 5-minute walk or 2-minute drive away. The University of Virginia, Monticello and downtown Charlottesville are all nearby. We are less than 10-minute drive to all the amenities you might need. We are less than 30 minutes from Shenandoah National Park, Thomas Jefferson's house at Monticello, James Madison's house at Montpelier, James Monroe's house at Ash Lawn and about a zillion breweries, cideries, and vineyards.

My favorite place to stay in the cville area. Bob is so friendly and accommodating. Directions are very clear, every campsite is super nice. We were at campsite 4 but I have stayed at every site on this property. One thing I will say (at site 4 especially) is watch for poison ivy. It grows all along the cement slab under the fire pit and along the side directly across. This is of course something that just comes with camping but I am super allergic and got it after this trip despite looking first and avoiding it. Does not detract at all from this site though!!!
The best camping spot in cville!
Amazing and fun! Bob and his managers were incredibly hospitable - great for kids and adults to have fun, relax, and explore too. We will certainly be back and couldn’t recommend this spot more :)
This is our third year back at Bob’s campsite. We love it! It is so well suited for our group of 6 adults and 3 kids and we enjoyed bringing our dog with us this year. Even though the weather was in the high 90’s, the pond kept us nice and cool.

Beautiful grounds with large spaces for tenting far from other tents. There are horses that add to the beauty, but so clean you won’t get any noxious smells.

One of the best places we have stayed at - feels far away yet so close to Charlottesville!
This was a great place to camp and Bob is a great host. The kids loved playing on the beach and in the pond.
Wonderful hosts. Beautiful land! Friendly dogs. They even helped out with a jump when we let the battery on the car go too long by mistake 🤦♂️
Great place for a quick, relaxed escape.
Very spacious and private. Lots to explore. The directions were specific and easy to understand. We were only there for an overnight adventure this time, but I'd definitely return for a longer stay in the future.
