Head out to Ponderosa Campground and immerse yourself in the forests of—well, you guessed it—ponderosa pine trees. Located 10 miles outside of Nephi, Utah, this spot sets you up with easy access to the Mt. Nebo Wilderness, Devil’s Kitchen Geological Area, fishing streams, and hiking trails. Explore the entirety of the area via the six-mile Nebo Loop Scenic Byway, or spend the weekend lounging around by the tent—all the campsites offer a decent amount of privacy, so no one will judge you for spending your days reading in your camp chair.
