Very well kept camp site and trail. Everything was set up perfectly. I will definitely be coming back again to this location. My nephews had a wonderful time exploring the trails and everything was within a short scamper of the camp site

Hands down the best hipcamp experience I’ve ever had. The sites were super flat and included a nice quality fire pit. There was a clean and convenient porta potty onsite and a beautiful scenic overlook. The host even helped us get our stuff up to the site since we don’t have 4 wheel drive!

Found out why it’s called Starlight Hills...it truly is a spectacular view of the stars at night. Loved our campsite (# 5), lots of room! Will greeted us and was so kind, checking to make sure we were ok and had enough firewood to keep warm. Pleasantly surprised by how clean the porta potty was! We will definitely be back ~ cannot wait!

What a beautiful quiet spot, with an unbelievable night view of the sky. It's rugged, so you won't see anyone with a big camper of any type there. My wife and I will definitely go back, it is a great place to stay!

Me and my wife came here for our 2nd anniversary and to get away for awhile
Since everything closed down due to the virus.
This place turned out better then we expected. Running water, beautiful views, very clean bathroom, great hills/trails to hike up. This place has only been open a short period of time and I can see so much potential. We originally booked site #2 but no one else booked any sites so we camped up top at the common area. Does get windy maybe 30-1hr in morning and every once in while at night. If it does get windy I suggest moving the fire pit to the road if u end up camping up top. The 3 camp sites below are great, shaded like running water 20 yards away. Each camp site has fire pits and plenty of space. I also saw a lot of wild turkey. You still get cell phone service to make calls but no internet service which didn’t matter to us bc it’s such a amazing place that keeps you busy. I can’t wait to see more stuff built here for the years to come. We already had friends starting to book this place and we will definitely be back. Even a famous tent company shared our camping pictures from this place. The host was great, very handy and willing to help out anyway he can but also keep his distance to help with the secluded feeling. I highly recommend this place.
