Our cabin is located on a 40 acre parcel just off a private very well maintained road. Privacy is well maintained for a quiet getaway. Full of wildlife in the undeveloped area, we’ve spotted various types of animals and birds ranging from small to large! The 14x28 cabin offers a kitchenette for food preparation needs, with a faucet for cleaning, and a neat dining table to eat with space. Food and drinks can be kept cold in the solar powered fridge/freezer. Sleeping offers a queen size log bed for a needed nightly recharge. Enjoy outdoor dining or watch as a campfire crackles. Rock fire pit provided along with birch firewood for campfires or sauna house. Clean and spacious outhouse is provided for bathroom needs.
House Rules:
-This will be based as a “glamping” type experience. “Leave it as you found it” and let others enjoy the space. Cleaning supplies are provided for an easy refresh! (Broom, swiffer mop, wet wipes, sprays, soap.) This helps keep stays more affordable if we all can do our part.
- Water is all carry in!
- Cellular reception is limited in this area, although satellite WIFI can be used.
- Kitchen includes paper towels, cutting boards, hot pads, spatulas, and common utensils.
- Heater is ready to warm the space at the turn of a thermostat!
- Pack in your own bedding to enjoy your favorite comforters and pillows.
- Easy access is provided with an mechanical door lock key holder.
- We provide dry birch firewood for easy and clean outdoor burning, toiletries, and all cleaning supplies needed plus garbage bags for a clean and fun experience.
- Take note of burning restrictions at the time of your stay.
- The cabin is equipped with 12VDC power, not standard household 120V power. The generator inlet can be used, to power the cabin.
