This is a working cattle ranch, owned by our family for 4 generations. It’s located on clear creek and a historical route used to trail cattle to the nearby railroad to load on the trains. Learn more about this land: We are located near Leiter, Wy 82837 please search this and notice we are remotely located, not close to town. There are multiple spots to pick for pitching a tent. Decide if you’d like to camp on the banks of clear creek or on a top of a hill with a view. If you’re pulling a camper or driving an RV there are 2 easily accessible locations with access to power. Locations are near Clear Creek so you can enjoy playing in the water or take a hike through a pasture. There is a cafe and bar just 4 miles up the road. They also offer shower and laundry services. We are a real working cattle ranch and there is local wildlife to view. Please let us know if there is any way we can make your stay better, we are happy to help if you express any needs you may have. If something isn't listed, ask! If you need an extended stay because you're in the area hunting, please let us know if we can help with laundry, food, etc.

My daughter and I tent camped at Christine's for 4 nights. We appreciated being right on the river and the privacy of the site. We didn't need anything but Christine was very willing to accommodate any needs we had.

Cute lil cabin. Given it's on a working ranch, I thought it'd be a bit cleaner - lots of dead moths inside. Land and sunset were gorgeous. the owners were super nice and the homemade lemon Greek yogurt and beef jerky were absolutely delicious.

I loved being on this ranch and experiencing the wide-open places and solitude. The sunsets were beautiful and it was fun interacting with the animals. The skyline and mountains make for a relaxing evening. I especially recommend staying on the lower side near the stream.

Overall we had a good experience- definitely get the fresh milk! Absolutely delicious! this is for you if you love cows and don’t mind roughing it. I had assumed that a “cabin” would mean more of a glamping experience but the area around the cabin was very untidy (overgrown, no proper pathways to the cabin or outhouse). The interior of the cabin however was pretty well-done except there wasnt proper ladder to get to the top bunk. A spigot nearby would have been nice but it was quite a distance and i was unable to use it because it was surrounded by cows (so cute). The other thing to note is that it was a bit difficult to find the farm- the GPS location was quite a ways off, and there was no signage whatsoever outside or inside the entrance. I would recommend the camping instead of the cabin (the site was gorgeous)-

Location was gorgeous & Christine was super helpful & quick to respond. Very secluded location, but perfect camp to stay for the night since we were just driving through. View of the stars is absolutely gorgeous!

Cross E Cabin

Christine was helpful with her direction and.communication. The cabin is as described and had everything I needed. It is right in her backyard basically while still offering privacy. In the morning we were greeted by cows grazing right outside. It definitely made for a unique experience. And the sunset was just gorgeous. The cabin is simple, nothing fancy, but it did the job and gave us a place to rest.

The tent site is about 1500 feet from the hosts home across the street. We camped along the creek. It's A very nice spot and very remote and quiet. The host provided water, a table and chairs.

We were cycling across the country and Christine’s place was a welcome stop in an area with very few services. Cabin was comfy and the fresh dairy products were wonderful

The hosts were so accommodating and walked us to the site despite our arrival being much later than we expected. We had a great time, the cabin was rustic but very comfortable.

I stayed with 2 friends camping on a cross country bicycle tour. Christine was fantastic, and provided a nice tent spot, water, fire pit wood and cooking set up so we could cook steaks we purchased from her and some veggies that we brought. Lovely.

We’re a couple of bike travelers riding the adventure cycling route PPP. Great rustic camp by the river in Leiter. Christine is a great host and she sells her own locally raised beef!

Awesome place and awesome people. Electric hookup a bonus. The wide open space was awesome for star gazing and just pure quiet. Other bonus was we had cell service so we didn’t miss the football game. Close to the Bighorns for day adventures!! Hosts bent over backwards to make sure we had everything we needed! Clear creek was close by and despite the drought we enjoyed the soft sound of the water that was passing by and of course the views were just as expected!! Thank you for your hospitality and sharing your slice of heaven!!

Christine and her space is fantastic. Located in a remote small town in Wyoming, it had everything we were looking for. Great views, flat, lush grass to camp in, peace and quite (a few cows mooing but that's just as as good as melatonin), and... a creek to bathe in! Always nice to be able to wash off after a day hiking etc. Christine had exceptional communication around a good spot to camp, where to get water, etc. She was a great host. Made everything quite easy for us. Bugs were present but not that ones that bite! A little bug spray couldn't hurt. But can't think of many campsites that don't have bugs so this was perfect! May have gotten a few fish nibbles on my backside in the creek... oops! Would recommend bringing camp chairs. They made our set up all the better. Also, I went for one of the better gravel bike rides of my life out there. The roads around are all good, but when going in past Leiter bar (must stop for a burger, or a good convo!), toward the property, take a left at fork instead of a ride and you ascend over a gorgeous little pass. Would (and will??) come back here sometime very soon. Thanks so much Christine! Hope you and your family had a great time at the county fair :)
