Yet another great time at Peter's spot! (See prior review from Sept 2023). The spot was cozy and lovely, even in the rain! The hosts are good people; highly recommend as a go-to to enjoy the Southern Unit of Kettle Moraine! See ya next year, guys!!!

Beautiful property with generous hosts! We loved our stay and plan on returning.
Spent two nights with my wife and daughter. We loved it! Great views. Beautiful land to explore. Much better than a tent and it doesn't cost much more. We rode out the storms that flooded Milwaukee and were nice and dry. Endless firewood. Decent size fridge. The awning pictured is no longer there. Hosts were very nice but gave us our space. I highly recommend.

Had a great time here! Peter and his family were very welcoming and ensured that we had everything we need.
Amazing location! Felt extremely private and had fantastic views. Peter’s instructions were clear and succinct. The area was also really quite large, making for a fantastic time.
If you’re looking for more than just a place to crash Pearl Forge Conservancy is a total gem. The hosts are legit warm and welcoming. Short drive to alpine valley. Whether you’re into back-to-basics camping or a cozy camper near the interstate, it’s a solid pick. Will camp there again!

Love this place.
The hosts were so helpful and accommodating. Very friendly people and so quick to respond to anything we brought up.
Honestly wish no one would know about this place so it would always be available when I want to stay here. But I can’t help but leave a great review.
The pond is so pretty and the area is so well done. It feels so secluded, peaceful and remote while still close to get what you need nearby.
Cannot wait to stay here again!
Beautiful property! Short distance to Kettle Moraine Forest and Ottawa Lake Rec Center. The trailer is comfortable for 2 adults or 2 adults with a 3rd sleeping in the twin bed. Bring camp chairs if you want to sit around the fire. The hosts are lovely, gave us fresh eggs and thankfully helped us jump our car! It was interesting to learn about their conservation efforts as well.

Pearl Forge Camper
I really enjoyed staying here. I was attending an event in the area and needed a dog friendly place to stay. It was quiet and peaceful with nice trails for walking.
This place is literally heaven! Beautiful, peaceful, everything comfy you need, great atmosphere and a kind host. We loved every minute spent there and will def be back. Don’t miss the short walk to the pond area - beautiful meadow.
As someone who travels often in search of peaceful, grounding spaces, this has easily become my favorite. There is something truly special about the energy of this land- calm, nurturing, and full of life.
Rebecca and Peter were warm, welcoming, and quick to respond to anything we needed. They even took us on a little adventure to explore the surrounding area, which made our experience feel even more personal and magical.
We left feeling recharged and inspired. I can’t recommend this place enough for anyone looking to unplug and immerse themselves in nature.
Thank you so much, we will definitely be back!
I loved camping here! Peter was a very kind host and very understanding about us coming so late on the first evening. The site was huge and well maintained. Also very clear instructions on how to get there. Loved sleeping next to such a nice little pond and the frogs sang us to sleep every night, lol. Absolutely would return next time we’re in Milwaukee area for events!

Camped with 10 year old son, beautiful property and privacy. Lots of fireflies and stars. Pond is nice for my son catching and releasing bluegill. Plenty of firewood, very generous. Highly recommend this spot. Directions and guidelines sent in advance and clear and easy to understand.

Pearl forge conservancy is on a very beautiful piece of land! The rv was so super comfy! From the ac to the pillow top bed, we had such a great time! Peter was super friendly and his wife made us delicious bagels! They have thought of everything to make it such a wonderful experience. Our dog loved the pond and staring at our chicken neighbors!

My family and I had a wonderful overnight stay at Peter’s! His property is beautiful and well-kept. He went above and beyond to accommodate our last minute trip request. He was very friendly, hospitable, and responsive. Our city dog had the time of her life swimming in the pond. We will definitely be back!
The camp site is secluded and beautiful. We stay the night while we attended the fire festival. It is nice to wake up with the sunrise out of the window and lots of bird singing. We would definitely recommend to stay here.

Had a wonderful night camping with my buddy and our boys. Lots of firewood and a huge available area to set up camp. The boys caught fish and frogs in the pond and we enjoyed exploring the property on the available trails. We would love to do this again!
Amazing spot. Tucked away from everything and a really fun fishing pond. Understanding and response host. There are loud frogs by the one so bring ear plugs. 10/10

A peaceful and gorgeous site with big open sky, a pond & creek, and a grove of cedars. Very secluded, though some road noise. The picnic table was in great shape, plus a big fire pit with lots of available wood. Lots of great hiking nearby. And there was excellent birdwatching - orioles, bobolinks, kingbirds, woodcock, etc. Would love to stay again!
We loved staying at Peter’s camper. Their property is large and absolutely beautiful…the camper is at the top of the hill and we could just sit down in our camping chairs and enjoy the view. Our puppy also enjoyed her first trip with us. Peter and his wife were so kind and brought us a freshly baked bread and the best eclairs we had in a long time! The camper had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. It’s great that such a nice place is within one hour of driving distance from Madison. We’d love to come back again.
We had a fantastic stay here! Not only was the RV super comfy (we slept like babies!), but the views were lovely. We did yoga every day while looking out over the rolling hills. Winding down by the fire pit after a good bike ride really hit the spot! Our hosts were generous and big-hearted, and offered special touches....especially the welcome gifts of homemade bread, eclairs, and fresh eggs. Yum, yum, and yum! And the doggies---adorable heart-throbs, I tell you! We are already looking forward to our return. Thanks much, guys! We look forward to returning!

My friends and I stayed here for a bachelorette party and it was wonderful! The land is beautiful and beyond peaceful; the perfect getaway. Pete was extremely helpful and friendly. We particularly enjoyed getting to play with the puppies and see the fish in the pond. We also appreciated all the extra special gifts left for us such as the fresh baked goods that were provided. Overall, we definitely recommend this place for any type of occasion/getaway. The memories made will last a lifetime. Thanks again Pete!

I loved Peter's land! we really enjoyed the view, fishing at the pond, stars in the night with great hospitality. We will be coming back next summer for sure!
My fiancé and I stayed here with our 2 dogs. Peter was a fantastic host, he has great communication, accommodating, dog friendly and went above and beyond. When we got there they had made us fresh éclairs, english muffin bread, farm fresh eggs and had dog biscuits. Camper was clean and fully stocked, it had everything we needed. Camper is on a hill over looking beautiful rolling hills and has a trail to walk to a small pond. As the sun was setting, we got to see 7 deer. We are dog lovers and got to meet their 3 dogs, all super sweet and cute. We definitely recommend staying here and we will be coming back.
