Welcome to Kingfisher Resort, a unique destination owned by Chad and Shannon Leibfried, where family values and a love for the outdoors come together to create unforgettable experiences. Nestled in the beautiful landscape of Chetek, Wisconsin, our resort offers a perfect blend of privacy and adventure, making it an ideal getaway for families and nature enthusiasts alike. Chad, originally from Platteville, Wisconsin, spent 40 years in Potosi, where he built a successful business constructing houses, pole sheds, and decks. He proudly served in the U.S. Army Reserves for eight years before relocating to Nevada in 2012, where he met Shannon, the love of his life. In 2020, they made the exciting decision to purchase Kingfisher Resort, bringing their vision of a family-oriented retreat to life. Shannon, a native of Australia and a Navy brat, has lived in Illinois and Nevada before settling in Wisconsin. She is a dedicated Registered Nurse and Hospice RN Case Manager at a local home hospice company in Eau Claire. Together, Chad and Shannon were married on April 21, 2018, blending their families into the Leibfried Family. Chad has two children, Sabrina and Tucker, while Shannon has Hunter and Kinsey.
