Lovely farm with cute cabin. Great deck to watch the moonrise. Enjoyed the hammock. My adorable morning tea companion Libby (the little kitty) was a welcome surprise. Quiet, relaxing, clean, and a great bed! Slept like a baby. Good internet connection. I did download a map in advance but never had a problem with GPS. Friendly host. Recommend.

This was such a cozy spot!! Would definitely stay again. We had cold temps but with the heater running we stayed plenty warm. Renee was very attentive as host. Had the quiet and relaxing stay we needed!

Everything we needed and not much we didn’t. A spartan but comfortable little space on the corner of the farm. I found it comforting to step outside during the night and hear sheep murmuring in the pasture. The creature comforts like the coffee maker and mini fridge were deluxe, and the outdoor shower was much nicer than it sounds. Overall a very nice stay.

Such a beautiful cabin and lovely farm! Like I think everyone who visits, we wished we had longer to stay! We felt so welcome and cozy - really beautiful deck area off the cabin, and everything planned to be comfortable and magical. The stars were as incredible as our stay!

Loved the view of the stars here! Site is pretty private since the windows are facing away from the owners residence but you can still see their home when stepping out of the structure. Bed is comfy too!

What a beautiful landscape! Rabbits hopping around on arrival, and a view of grazing sheep along with greenhouses and gardens. I love being surrounded by the sounds of nature and this setting did not disappoint with the ‘baas’ of sheep in the distance, the screeching of owls and howling of either coyotes or wolves??
Most definitely will return for a stay now that my son is nearby attending college!

This is the best Hipcamp I’ve ever stayed at! The cabin was so cute and clean and had everything you could possibly need - outlets, water, clean towels, sheets and even a mini fridge. I loved sitting out on the porch to read. There’s even an outdoor shower that was very nice. Renee was very hospitable - she invited me to dinner where we ate all food she had grown, raised or baked right on her farm. I loved it and hope I can come back soon!

We had a great experience staying at Renee and her family's farm, as a base for us to explore the Ashland/Bayfield area. The little cottage on the property was great to have as we ended up with some rain in the evenings, and it was clean and well-appointed. We used the stove every night, and Renee was nice enough to check in and give us more propane as needed (a fire ring and charcoal grill are also an option!) There is a queen bed and we also set up a tent outside, which worked out great. You can see the family's house from the campsite, but I felt there was plenty of privacy as the deck and windows face away from the house. The port-a-potty was super clean, since not many people are using it.
Renee gave us a tour of the farm one morning while we were there, which was truly delightful. She was a great host, and I would recommend a stay here to anyone!

Renee’s farm was absolutely gorgeous! It’s a very short distance from downtown Ashland and not far from Bayfield and the ferry to Madeline Island, but it’s remote enough to be peacefully quiet, with absolutely amazing night skies. We loved it!

Loved staying at Renee’s farmhouse. It was very quiet and peaceful. Loved the view every morning of sheep grazing and I would definitely stay over again.

Pleasant accommodations tucked into farmland surroundings. Fireflies at night and meandering sheep in the morning. Super clean and comfortable. Delightful host.

we loved our stay at the tiny house! it was super cute and clean and we had everything we needed to have a lovely stay including firewood, cups and plates & a shower. the view was amazing and the sheep were very cute and we had a nice campfire in the evening.

Our experience was wonderful! The little shed was cute and cozy with a beautiful and peaceful view. Even with one of our two days being filled with rain, we still had a lovely time. The hosts were great and very responsive and helpful. Would definitely recommend!

Loved our first glamping experience. Usually we'll car camp but needed a little more security against the rain as we were in Ashland for more formal activities. If you like farm animals, you'll love this place! Met the hosts and both very friendly and accomodating. Would defintely go back. Highest recommendation!

Renee's place offers a perfect spot to overnight. The lodging is cozy and very clean, and the farm is a welcoming and pleasant place to stay. On top of it, Renee seems to have thought of anything a weary and unprepared traveler might have forgotten.

very nice they could have accommodated a better camper site. Love it the site was beautiful for late fall. heat was terrible in morning fall. Cannot sleep 4 people with one bed. At this point great for 2 people
