The Western Australian caravan park offers everything from caravan and camping facilities, to fully self-contained cabins and units. Two well-maintained ablution blocks are at your disposal, along with a fully equipped campers’ kitchen and laundry. Speak to our friendly tourist park staff to organise a local Walpole tour – exploring the local waters or venturing through the forest ‘Valley of the Giants Tree Top Walk’. You’ll also be perfectly situated to visit some of Walpole’s famous vineyards and breweries. Walpole is also home to some of Western Australia’s most spectacular national parks including Mt Frankland National Park and Nornalup National Park. Organise a group walking trail with the family or cram into a 4WD and try one of the local 4WD trails. Check out our Walpole travel guide for more info. Our Walpole accommodation ranges from two and three-bedroom cabins to one, two or three-bedroom units or freestanding accommodation, all with breathtaking views of the inlet. We had an amazing weekend at this campsite. The facilities were clean and well maintained, which made the stay really comfortable. There was plenty of entertainment throughout the weekend, including live music and a sausage sizzle, which created a great atmosphere for everyone. Watching the cricket on the projector in the boat shed was a brilliant touch. The views were absolutely fantastic and really topped off the experience. Overall, a great spot with a welcoming vibe we would highly recommend it and will definitely be back.

Green site at river mouth with lots of people fishing. We stopped only for a night and chatted to various friendly residents with dogs. We also saw roos nibbling the grass at night. Theres a coffee bar serving people and clean facilities worth a visit.

Lovely campsite with beautiful views over the lake. I will advise that the ground was very hard and it was difficult to drive tent pegs into the ground, even with a mallet. It was also very windy because it's essentially a large open plane with nothing to break the wind, which made for a couple interesting nights with the tent feeling like it was going to be ripped up! But other than that, it was a great time and the place had a lovely atmosphere. Friendly staff. Options to buy fresh bread and coffee. Good amenities (showers were always available when I needed them). Thanks for a great experience.

We loved the Walpole Rest Point so much. The location was central and just perfectly situated. The inlet views were amazing. Access and amenties were very good. Highly recommended.

Walpole Rest Point is the perfect spot if you’re looking for a peaceful and friendly place to stay. Surrounded by nature and water, it’s absolutely beautiful. The staff were lovely and the atmosphere was incredibly welcoming. I would definitely recommend staying there.

Overall the site is adequate for a night's rest. The site would benefit from having trees for shade, bigger space for each site, and providing more facilities to accommodate the number of guests.

Caravan park with power, water, shower and restrooms. Bays are close together. Hosts were super friendly and accommodating. Kangaroos and lots of seabirds present a short walk from park site.

One of the nicest laid out campsites I’ve been to so far. Good laundry and kitchen facilites. Nice toilets and showers. Loads of kangaroos in the evening! Kayak hire and immediate lake access too. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Would not hesitate to come back.

Location was perfect, right on the inlet Our site was spacious and grass was in good condition. Ablution blocks were quite run down, 3 showers and toilets in each. Multiple showers and toilets blocked up and wouldn’t drain across the week we stayed which was a shame. Jumping pillow was great for the kids and Santa handing out lolly bags on Christmas Eve was awesome! Nice quiet park that we would come back too, staff were so so lovely!

The greenery is a bit lacking, so it gets quite dusty when it’s windy. The campsites are also somewhat crowded. On the plus side, the facilities are well-equipped and very clean.

Such a great spot to camp and unwind. The land is peaceful with lovely surroundings, and the facilities like Wi-Fi, clean toilets, and the guest kitchen made everything super easy.
